Today we have another wonderful achievement. Boris got his permanent residence visa! We are very happy, we have been waiting for this for 2 years.
This visa would allow him to live in the Philippines indefinitely, work legally and have his own business.
At the immigration office we met his friend Igor. He has been living in the Philippines for several months. He watched our video where we bought our motorcycle, he liked it so he bought the same one. Even the pannier is the same. We said goodbye to Igor and went to one of our favorite cafes for lunch. Boris loves their tamarind soup. On our way home, we stopped in Tagum City to buy some groceries and a machete. Boris and I need them for the farm. The market is big but it was so hard to find a shop that sells machetes. Boris asked some locals and they pointed him to this shop. There are several types of machetes here. We bought 3 of them. They will be very useful now that we have our farm. This iron caught our attention, it is so cute. Boris was so happy to find these old things. We left with a smile on our faces. Today is such a beautiful day!
