My mouth is hanging open! Ok, so yesterday I bought three new pallets and three new pigmented powder shadows. I was standing in line, thinking about the 300+ other shadows I have and thought...F*ck it! I do have a small magnetic box set up like this, but going bigger now, much bigger. Thank you so much
I need to do this actually because the colour of palette packaging is too distracting for me and i can't figure out which colors go with which so I just don't use them. 😢
Yeah, makeup for me is like a selfcare luxury thing for me. Depotting would remove some of the "magic" in the process for me. I get why people do it & it does save space but unless more then half the palette is fully panned/used up or the packaging is rough looking I would not be doing this lol
I’ve been wanting to start doing this so I could have a smaller palette that I would consistently use. Currently I’m in the process of making one. So far I’ve depotted blush (it was a blush from those things that have like 20 of everything in one spinny thing, idk how to describe it), a few eyeshadows, and a few lip glosses and they’re all my perfect color
Im about to have to start doing this like my life depends on it if i want to keep my shadows. We are downsizing to a 1br apt from a 3br house and i have a lot of makeup to throw away and depot. Has to be done, though, and in the end we still probably have one more move left, so can she resist buying more between now and then? 😂😂
“better palette” but those are legit made in specific shades for a usual type of makeup or look or what fits the person based on skin tone or things like eye color😭
I wish you could just order loose pans from Pat 😂 I like that pallette but the shimmers aren't very good. At least not as good as the mothership shimmers. I think this is my sign to do some frankensteining 😂

What do you think happens to the pallet once the product is used up normally? She is just transferring them into a format that suits her better, it’s not wasteful at all.
