I ordered all my bedding & hangers & dorm decorations online and had them mailed to Pepperdine. As for my clothes, I brought 8 suitcases. Bring someone with you to orientation (like a parent!) and they can you help you carry more suitcases through the airport. Roll up all the clothes to make them super compact & you'll be amazed how much stuff you cram in to it!
Not at all. There's a Law School at Pepperdine, but the undergrad campus, Seaver College, is totally separate from that. The top majors are polisci and business, but all the programs here are really strong. Fall in love with Pepperdine! You will LOVE it here :)
You're going to love Pepperdine!! Good decision becoming a wave :) I lived in E-Suite, which is the top floor & I thought it was perfect because you don't ever have any bug problems & can leave the windows open at night and feel completely safe & don't have to worry about anyone stomping on the floor above you :) And even though it's the top floor, it's only 1 and a half flights of stairs.

I was in SAAJ & it was amazing! SAAJ=Social Action & Justice Colloquium, we taked about injustices going on around the world & they brought in lots of epic guest speaker and we had epic class discussions. In Great Books, you read A BUNCH & then have class discussions with really small class sizes (10-12 ppl). You read books like the Iliad, Odyssey, Inferno, the Republic, Shakespeare, etc. It's a huge time commitment, so only do Great Books if you adore literature & philosophy.
hi lizzie! i have a question.. i am thinking about going to peppperdine and i live very far away (NY) just like you in florida and i'm wondering how you moved all of your clothes and everything to pepperdine? it seems like a whole lot just to throw on an airplane! haha please HELP!
That's fine! You don't have to be Christian to come to Pepperdine. I've met quite a few people here who are atheist or agnostic. Definitely still apply!
+King Ceetee Not at all! They are extremely generous with scholarships. I know so many people here who don't pay any tuition or have a large part of it covered via. scholarships.

Yes! It's Christian and affiliated with the Churches of Christ (Church of Christ is a Protestant denomination very similar to Baptist). Not everyone who goes to Pepperdine is Christian, but there is much religious diversity within Christianity: Catholics, Non-denoms, Baptists, COC ppl, etc.

Any tips on bringing Wi-Fi into a dorm that has no internet connection whatsoever? Because I go in August and my dorm is completely without a doubt Wi-Fi less lol.
ok well thats why shes her, and thats why you're you. some people are more devote christians than others... theres a difference between 'christians by default' and 'real christians' i think her room is awesome and i love how much she is indulged in God. If you think thats too extreme, then honestly, you kinda need to grow up and realize everyone is different! your making it seem like she's doing something wrong? sigh, this comment is ignorant in so many ways...

Hi!! so ive been watching youre videos and it seems like you really love pepperdine! im a junior and am really considering coming out to visit (im from michigan) and was just wondering what your opinion was on going to pepperdine if youre from out of state- please be honest!are a lot of the people from california and go home on the weekends? do a lot of them come from the same high school and stay in the same friend groups? if you dont have a car are you abandoned on the weekends? thanks a ton!
how long did it take to apply to pepperdine ? like i'm 12 and i graduate high school 2019 than I wanna go to community college for four years than go to pepperdine . my mom says the waiting list is like seven years long or you have to be really amazing at what your studying ?
