I decided to post this video for friends who often wonder what it is that I do at work. Normally I cut metal all day with a Cat 336 excavator mounted shear. But today I'm baling metal and loading trucks with a Sennebogen crane. I have 8500 hours on my Cat 336 but I only run this maybe 5 times a year and only have around 200 hours on it.

Love the Fer elise... Such a beautiful Beethoven piece right into the 5th...:)...I grew up around scrap yards, I've always liked watching the electromagnet Machines...

I like this video. Great job with the music and subtitles. I especially like the part where you stopped the music when you pulled your ear plugs out and started it again after your friendly gesture! Cool and creative.

Greetings from northen Sweden. I am not a magnet crane operator but I run the forklift at work,, and the Volvo L90.. I like the precision stuff with heavy machinery. Nice music as well.

how come you line the truck with rebar, to protect the bed?

Depending on when that 336 was made, I may have helped build it.

It's a 2012 and its still my pride and joy. Still starts first time every time.

@@scotthovind I was working there at the time, built the 336, 345 and 349. I machined the bores in the boom and stick for the connecting pins. Laid me off after little over a year and then closed the plant, but I'm working at a better place now, where my bosses actually know what they're doing.
