Picking up a Brand NEW 2018 Motech Performance Edition 001 BMW M140i Shadow Edition with a Remus Exhaust. We convoyed there with a BMW M2, Mini Cooper S and BMW Z4 and was later joined by a BMW M3 and 640D. Hope you enjoy the video.

Great video guys. Very subtle changes to the M140i make a huge difference. Very impressive. Would be really interested to know if the Motech upgrades (mainly exhaust and springs) effect the warranty. If not I will be definitely heading over there at some point in the near furure.

sp royals Each to their own however I can imagine half the people who prefer the A45 haven't driven both cars nor do they no a lot about what makes a good performance car, So they pick the "boy racer" looking A45 that makes stupid noises after each upshift and has a shit 2.0 litre inline 4.

Great video and gorgeous car. Only thing negative I have to say is the picture quality seemed over edited, especially when showing the interior as the black went all pixelated and blurry. Thought there was something wrong with my laptop at first lol.

I have an M235i, well specked with only 15k miles on the clock. I own the car outright so I know it makes no sense to change for a new car but I really really want one. Must resist the urge though. I'm curiouse to see what the M140 replacement is like, I hear they are doing away with the 3 liter six cylinder engine and going down the same path as all the other manufacturters with a 2 liter 4 pop using the mini platform. Makes me sad.

This is nasty man.. I live in the U.S. and just ordered replacement for my EB M235i with a SO M240i.. we don’t have shadow pack in U.S. but just confirming that’s sunset orange.. and again wicked ride sir!

Still looks ugly. Will be worth peanuts in 3 years too. Sounds not bad. Good fun on a track but hopeless in the uk with out rubbish weather and narrow roads. clarkson drove one a track and lost the back for no reason whatsoever whilst on a straight line at 130mph lol. Enjoy.

Its the first 1 series to have the brand new B58 engine, it will hold its value for a while yet. Even the last of the 135i's with the N55 engine hold their value lol Clarkson drove the old 1 series from 2012, since then the new version of the car (LCI) model has massive improvements. Go test drive one at your local dealer fella, you will be converted :)

sp royals Clarkson lost control because he had it in sport plus mode which turns the traction control off, which at 130mph with the track soaking wet was always going to spin off.
