As a creative writing major and avid reader, I can say Taylor has a point. Crying while reading a book is completely normal and a reaction that writers want from their readers. Crying while reading a book just means that the author did an amazing job of getting you to feel like you're there in the story world experiencing it 💖

Hi Brock and Boston and friends! Another fun vlog. I'm not a big book reader but the ones I've read haven't made me cry that I can remember except for the Bible lol. Sometimes watching you guys say goodbye to each other makes my eyes water because it's always sad to say goodbye to friends and loved ones. Man, that Brazilian food looked awesome! That's why I say Brock is gonna put on some weight with those rice and beans in Brazil lol. Wow, if you guys wrote a book or made a movie about your plane crash experience, I'd definitely read or watch that. I know that was a very difficult but also fascinating experience for you guys since you survived it. The wisdom teeth video of you guys was hilarious! I loved it! I'd love for Brock to explain what it will be like to serve on his mission. What are the dos and don't of it? Will you serve alone or with others? How will your life be different down there? Where will you live or with who? Do you have to stay there the whole two years without seeing your family or can they visit you or can you visit them at times? Hey Brock and Boston. I’m from the EST coast in the USA. These are my favorite candy brands, soda, and juice recommendations. When I visit my family in Brazil. Caramel: dolce de leite viçosa (pricy but worth it definitely bring some back for your family to try). Chocolate: Lacka Baton Garoto Serenata De Amor Soft candy: Yogurte cream - strawberry Chita - assorted fruit Gomets - gum drops Achor - variety of fruits flavor Soda: Guarana Juice: Aurora soco (high quality grape juice - pricy) Tang juice (juice mix). They have capri sun and gatorade. Flip flops: Havaianas - from the original stores. Grocery stores sell them to but it’s not the original ones.

1) are you allowed to bring your phone with you? if so, how often can you be on it? if not, how do you call your loved ones & how often will you be able to do that? 2) do you get to stay on a call as long as you want or is it a time limit on calls? 3) are you scared to move that far away for 2 years? 4) what is ONE thing you’ll miss most about home? 5) when you saw it was Brazil, were you sad at all knowing you’re gonna be so far away from home? & lastly, are you gonna pre-record videos like Klailea did so you can still post weekly or will you be able to send footage over to Bos? orrrr is Bos gonna take over 😌

Fantasy books can actually be good though. There is always that one book or series (same with movies) that stands out from every genre because it’s just incredibly well written… some books are great even if the belong to a genre you usually don’t like 11:46 depends on what books you’re reading. If you don’t read many books you’ve probably never cried but I could see why people might cry. Especially if they’ve been really invested in a series and then your favourite character all of a sudden dies or there is a really emotional scene to which you might be able to relate due to some personal stuff… I have never cried reading a book but I honestly haven’t read much in the past years. Literally just read children’s or young adult books back when I was a child/early teen and then the books for school… it’s not like I’m going to cry reading those, so for us non book readers it sounds weird but it’s basically like crying because of your favourite character in a movie or sth like that
