oh my god this is one of my fave songs, and then you started out with THAT scene, and i was already shook, and then the whole atmosphere???? of this video is so amazing??? 1:44 - 1:48 ??? is such a good sequence :D and then you totally broke my heart to a million pieces
I am in love with moment when Doctor is standing, Clara is leaving, and lyrics "I gave you all". It hurts, but this video is brilliant, the other side of their relations. Thank you for it.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! This is absolutely BLOODY AMAZING!!! Your editing, the song choice...WOW!!! It is just so perfect and has given me so many feels!! SUPER AMAZING JOB!!
this is SO good! I really really love it, you captured the angst so well, between the scenes, voiceovers and music, and the amazing editing of course! I'm really in love with this video.
To be honest, the Doctor's attitude in "Dark Water" STILL infuriates me. However bitchy and controlling Clara may have been, the Doctor was the one who used her and betrayed her trust many times over Series 8. Making her feel like he was abandoning her multiple times, lying to her and using her as a tool to deceive others and then hypocritically complaining when she lied in return, refusing to accept that her life was her life and her decisions were her decisions and arrogantly despising Danny just on the basis of Danny's having been a soldier, and inconsistently not giving a damn about the rules most of the time and then refusing to do so exactly at the times that Clara needed him the most. In the face of all of that, the Doctor had NO right and NO place talking about how Clara "betrayed" his trust by taking the TARDIS keys. The Twelfth Doctor was, honestly, little more than a despicable egomaniac for most of Series 8, and I didn't start liking him until Series 9.
I totally agree with you. With every word you say. As to Twelve in season 9 - yes, he improved a bit. But only a bit: I truly dislike the way he wastes others and lets them die (O'Donnel, The General), justifying this with 'saving Clara'.
Albus Nix I love twelve, mainly because I think I understand his personality. And in reality not everyone gets this type. Twelve is like Sherlock. The attitude that comes off as uncaring like he would leave Clara to make the choice on her own is his love language, showing that he knows how capable she is to make the right choices. This is very much a kin to the personality type of INTP if you're into that.
