Word of advice from a military veteran, if you ever need to open a door to check for an intruder, and have another person with you, stand to the side of the door where the hinges are, and have the other person cover the opening. Opening a door like you demonstrated around the 35 minute mark is dangerous, it puts you directly in front of a potential threat, well within arms reach.
I don't feel anyone should open up questionable doors without having proper training. You and I know those situations can go bad in a heartbeat. Even when ready, one can be overpowered. So, advising young ladies through a quick post really isn't proper and can lead to a bad situation getting worse when they had the option and opportunity to leave and get help. Just a thought or two.
So the earring in the attic, the missing lighters, and the washcloth in the shower all remind me of a couple stories told on MrBallen's RU-vid channel where a person had found a secret crawlspace or a loose panel that lead into a space between the walls and lived in there. If I remember correctly, in both stories the person hiding in the house ended up being mentally unwell and dangerous. If I were Megan and Shelby I would search the house meticulously, the closets, the basement, and the attic specifically, to look for any entry points to crawlspaces. Or like Courtney said, it's a spirit with very advanced translocation abilities. Moving physical items, especially between rooms/floors makes me think it's a human hiding in the house. I dunno...but I'm scared for them !
Yeah I'm scared for them as well I am praying for them for their safety and just don't want anything to happen I would really hate that something happens and it was right underneath our nose you know we all singing everything we could have seen more if we were paying attention you know that guilt your feeling why couldn't we see more why didn't we you know it's just really crazy how things like that are happening in their home it does seem like what Courtney said wild very wild
There's a couple stories Mr. Ballen did about something like that. One was a woman who would sneak out from the attic crawlspace and climb down into the kitchen and eat/drink this guy's stuff. Another was a nasty perverted neighbor who cut holes in the attic floor to see into the room the family's young daughter stayed in. Some serious creeps. I hope they check that stuff out in their house too. Better safe than sorry.
If there are any updates (like catching an intruder or finding out who that family is) I hope you keep us informed! It would even be cool to see a second episode of this house for more investigations
Agreed I want more answers seems like some overly “religious” person was trafficking young kids especially the Spanish since from South America it’s so relative to trafficking of children I truly think they were there and a bad man or evil something was also there the answers pointed to that IMO amazing episode those kids if they are kids who were hurt need their story out vote for episode 2 from me 100%

Not only do they need to change every lock in that house but they need a security system of numerous cameras to see everything from where they hang out mostly including cell phones. Cover every inch of that place. I also don’t understand why their family would not intervene. My daughter would be out of that place in a heartbeat. You literally cannot trust anybody these days. And nail that attic door shut.
I was thinking the EXACT same thing as you, I'd be straight out of that place, or if not cameras everywhere and I would file a police report so they have something logged just incase!! Super dodgy. I love paranormal stuff and I do believe but this seems too weird for me honestly.
This is why whenever I would move into a rental property I’d request the landlord to have the locks changed before I’d move in as you never know who might have a key from the past and yeah my daughter would be outta there right quick
Right: new locks, alarm system, zero access from the attic. Also that window has to be a fire hazard, I doubt that's legal. Whoever you're renting from seems gross, don't worry about being nice and hold them responsible. Rephrase your inquiry about the rodents. Say: We've seen a dead rat and some mice, when can you schedule a visit from pest control? That b---- will get your meaning. If management absolutely will not help you, or if they delay, forfeit the deposit and pay for these things yourselves (immediately). On a lighter note, you all have great hair EDIT: I agree w commenters who suggest you also make a police report (or some kind of formal city complaint) and hire a contractor to check for any crazy access points and to look at the crawl space. I really think you should treat it as a place where there may have been trafficking and then get every single issue fixed accordingly.
I completely agree! My child would be outta there faster than they could pack a bag. I would not have them there. They said their families think they’re sort of exaggerating. If my kids lived in a house that scared them for any reason. Where I thought there could be a slight risk or threat. They would be outta there. You hear so much about actual people being in houses secretly. And if it is not a person and it’s a spirit. It’s a bad one. So they should leave.
I also think this could be possible and that scares me more. They need to get more cameras and put one in the attic or at least pointing to the attic. Hopefully they figure it out soon and stay safe.
I also think so, and they should of probably filed a police report and taken the underwear that was misplaced, the washcloth, and that residue they found on her sheet… It’s so scary either way if it’s a psycho perv or an evil entity
I once witness my lighter flying off the counter right in front of me in my previous haunted house that I sold bc I had nothing but negative energy there.

I always think just from watching so many paranormal shows in the past etc that these house calls have the most compelling evidence for whatever reason maybe because people are in them for enough time to witness it or stir It up or whatever it is. I left this comment on the premiere that Hannah's House on BuzzFeed unsolved had the most evidence out of all of them! I just hope these two young women are safe! Just to take precautions it's good that they have a gun, I would get security systems we have one it also has an app on your phone super easy to use that you can see everything in your house and on the outside, not expensive at all. This is crazy, literally had me on the edge of my seat but all of their vids do!
I used to live in the attic of shops built into flats in North Wales. You'd get the feeling of someone in the flat with you but it was just a feeling, but sometimes it was like a person a foot away from you in an absolute rage staring into your face, only invisable, I'd just 'nope' it out to a cafe I was too broke to find another place. The ghost used to wander through all the flats, and one of the nieghbours moved in, and unaware of this he went to the front door of his flat, which was almost full length frosted glass and you could see through it down the corridor to the lounge, he saw a person walking around in the lounge, so he called the police. So two big coppers turned up fast to a 'burgler on the premisis' they looked through the glass and saw a person walking around, they got the nieghbour to unlock the door quietly and, then, they charged in yelling 'Police! Stay where you are!' ran into the lounge, did a double take finding it totally empty, and ran out down the stairs into the street. He ran after them. He said, 'Through the glass blurry but definite you could see the skin of his face and the shadows of his nose and eyes and his hands'
in my childhood home I moved into the family room at the end of the house when I was a teenager. "more independence"as I was far away from all the other bedrooms. Always felt SOMETHING there. In the corner watching me when I would go to sleep. One night I heard what sounded like someone throwing themselves on the floor (loud THUMP) and a crawling noise that went under my bed. When I tell you I LEAPED off my bed and ran to my parents room. Since that night I had never felt something in the corner of my room again. Whatever it was crawled back into the realms of hell under my bed apparently.
I've been around paranormal experiences for more then 40 years. Having jewelry and other items in homes moved even into spots no one goes is very common. Your girl kept saying a human had to pull the attic door down, that a ghost couldn't physically do that. Alot of things that are considered paranormal are not just spirits. Alot of what we think of paranormal we really can't grasp the amount of, some would say magical or mysterious things that happen. A good friend of mine about 35 years ago him and his father said they decorated their Christmas tree every year with the same ornaments with those colored bulbs with glitter. These were family Christmas decorations that were passed down from grandparents. Christmas morning the family awakes to open presents. Every bulb on the Christmas tree about 50+ were all there on the tree except all the glitter stuck to each bulb was gone. Each bulb was shiny as if there was never any glitter. Very strange.. Fast forward 2 months after incident his dad was in the hallway with a ladder and in the attic running electrical wire. His father yells to my buddy and tells him to get up into the attic with him. My buddy and his dad told me that on each of the 2x4's or trusses going across the attic floor were pyramid stacks of glitter throughout the attic. Each trusse had like 5 stacks each. They could not explain how this happened. His father told me he felt it was so paranormal it was too hard for us to grasp or comprehend. Paranormal can be very strange and mind blowing!
@@lunakat7020 dumbass spirits lol. I have no idea. To us it seems like a crazy amount of work to remove all that glitter from each bulb. Which I've tried to do with a pocket knife afterwards and the bulb just breaks. The glitter is like super glued to the bulbs. Maybe to the spirit or entity it took no time at all. You ever here stories about homes that have a poltergeist? During interviews the homeowner would say the family would be in the kitchen and turn around and walk out to the living room. They might hear a soft tap or noise then look back in the kitchen and every chair around the kitchen table will be stacked up to the ceiling balancing on one of the legs. Paranormal can be very strange and very hard for us to understand. Almost seems impossible for allot of things spirits or an entity can do.

@@lunakat7020 well personally I lost my father 4 years ago. We were very close. A couple days after he passed I was home and really depressed and down. I went outside to smoke a cigarette. Which my dad always hated the smell of smoke. He never in his life saw me smoke and I hid it from him. I just never lit up when I was around my dad. If we went to go visit my dad, I just wouldn't smoke for a few days when staying at his house. No big deal. So going back to 2 days after my dad passed away. I was outside and smoking a cigarette around 2am in the morning. No one was around me. I was completely alone. All of a sudden I got swatted on my backside. Almost like when your a kid and you get spanked lol. I was hit pretty hard lol. It took me about 10 seconds to realize it was my dad. He was with me and saw me light up a cigarette and swatted me lol. Scared the heck out me. But once I realized it was my dad I was ok. I couldn't see him. But for about 3 weeks after my father passed he was around me at my house. I could never see him. But I could feel his energy. Like standing next to a high powered electrical panel that puts off a static electric charge to the touch. Anytime he was next to me that static charge would make every hair on my arms and face stand straight up. I also heard his voice respond to me out loud when I told him I loved him. He responded back that he loved me too. That is the most paranormal thing to happen to me personally. That was more of a spiritual moment! Anyways take care!
I think that house has a bug (listening device) hidden somewhere in it (possibly a camera). And it was placed there by a “Close by” neighbor who is monitoring thus knowing their comings & goings. They also have a key. (They need to have that stain checked out for human secretion. Possibly DNA.) This person probably also loves the fact that the girls believe it’s “all” caused by the spirits. If you can believe in all of those things as possibilities why is the paranormal such a hard possibility to consider as well? Just curious… To me both theories seem equally considerable.
Very interesting episode. The girls need to have a professional come in and sweep for hidden cameras and install security cameras for them. Also, get a scraper or knife and remove glue/caulk on the window. A hairdryer or heat gun will help.
This has got to be one of my favorite episodes of The Paranormal Files EVER. I can’t stop thinking about all of this, way more questions than when y’all started this investigation. If you are able to, I think we need a part 2 at some point. 🤞🏼

Collin, that’s clear caulking around that window and yes, it’s thick and truly hard to peel off! But I want to go back to that cut carpet in the closet! Peel it up! Something is hidden in this house, I’d find a spot and drill peek holes in that area under the steps as well so you can easily repair it if nothings found. I have a gut feeling you’re going to find something.
We actually searched for a crawl space because some of the other houses in the neighborhood were installed with doors to access the crawl space (it’s under the stairs) but we couldn’t find any door or access point!
So stressed out for these ladies, please please urge them to have their landlord fix the window for them! Not only is it a fire safety hazard it’s extremely dangerous if they do have someone breaking in with ill intent. I would probably also do a thorough cleanse of the whole house! If someone is living in the crawl space and entering/exiting a hidden unknown way, they're probably using candles as light back there which would make sense to need to steal lighters...just saying. I really think ya'll should get a contractor to come out and figure out how someone could access that crawl space and if it connects throughout multiple areas in the house...it could be anywhere even like a kitchen cabinet.
I agree with you, I lived in a apt. which was an older structure that had a crawl space at the back of a closet and the access to the attic was in the walk in closet of my room on the ceiling. They should try to see if they can bring it up contractor to kind of look at the layout of the condo and even do some digging down at the courthouse to see if they can get some background on the property, they can also find out who all occupied the home throughout a period of time.
My guess is that, at some point, the house may have been part of a human trafficking ring or something like that. That would explain the glued-shut windows in that room, as well as the mattress in the attic. You should definitely get the landlord out there to replace those windows. While you're at it, you might want to see if you can get the landlord to open up that crawl space so you guys make sure that the house is clear of anyone who shouldn't be there. Also, that's probably where everything else that's been disappearing is at, so you should definitely look down there... another possibility for the missing stuff would be somewhere in the attic.
I think there is some genuine paranormal activity happening but I also can’t shake the feeling about the mention of a crawl space that they can no longer find.. It’s like someone hid something in there and there’s a spirit attached to it and they are trying to get found, I bet they’d find the lighters in the missing space too, hidden by a spirit or someone who is able to access the space still somehow.

The text the camera angles the drum attic, introductions and endings. They’re all working really well, especially with this video and the last one of the killing Fields. She did such a great job so I’m happy to be a watcher and, I’m now watching the one about your friends haunted house pretty excited I’m from Edmonton Alberta Canada and I am disabled now I’m 55. I was high school teacher. I did get an after degree education for about eight years and unfortunately when I was 35 or 34 I was in a very tragic car accident not my fault. I stopped at a red light and, they were parked in front beside me and a man came in a truck behind me. I had stopped already and he was going about 6070 miles an hour slammed into the back of my car and he didn’t stop even though it was red light destroyed my car and destroyed my body I’ve been in bed for 18 years come this May 2006 was my first month, I move about two days a month and I can get up and move around but I can’t get groceries. Do anything like that? I have a lot of help and thankfully I got a good settlement. You hear about those stories about people breaking into homes and living in the attic, the basement and even the walls. This is very debatable wether its human or paranormal. Id definately tell them to still be alert in case it IS a person. If they decide to put up cameras, id do it without planning it out loud. Seems whatever it was, was listening to where they were planning their hiding spots. But GREAT job Colin. The vids just keep getting better and better! You seem like a great leader and investigator. What bothers me is HOW EASY YOU COULD JUMP FROM ONE ROOF ONTO THEIR ROOF. Had that happen to a friend of mine. We found someone in the house after we pretended to leave. That person never did that again.
This situation is so concerning! (As a mom, grandma, and great grandma I'd be scared if this was happening to a family member.) Hey Colin & Courtney, watching from Cincinnati, Ohio over here! These poor girls are scared enough & to b told over & over & over again tht her earring was in the attic probably didn't help them to feel any better. Courtney luv, yes a spirit can manipulate items & move them frm one room to another or even make them disappear all together. It wouldn't have had to pull down the ladder or opened the attic door, that's not how spirit energy works. Please don't take that the wrong way darlin ok. Ive just been doing this for over 20yrs & I know your still learning. Those girls need to be very aware of the potential stress & anxiety their pets could be experiencing in tht home & how dangerous that could b on their well-being. I know this from experience & its not something I'd wish on anyone. One more thing. Without 100% knowing what your dealing with in that house man I'd definitely tell those girls to refrain from giving it any sort of identity or anymore toys. I truly hope you have a medium or someone capable of doing a proper cleansing lined up for this home after your done bcuz im genuinely concerned for these girls. Good luck & God bless
yeah. you could just see the helplessness in Shelby's eyes. like, okay? she's been scratched multiple times and already had a breakdown. i don't think adding more anxiety was helping. i'm sure it was one of those moments where one can't even think straight and they are thinking out loud and trying to reason it out to no avail. hopefully the girls will be able to overcome whatever it is and not let it cause them fear anymore
Yes. Very interactive. Nor the usual mundane questions that are usually asked demanding names and show yourself. Very interactive. I just felt alot of questions with not much time in-between for interactive true responses ( though it seems they got some. )
Seems like there may be a djinn on this property. They are described as actual entities that we cannot perceive normally, but exist in a reality parallel with ours. They don't seem like ghosts.
Okay so I just watched the whole video in one sitting. Didn't even skip past the interviews which I usually do because I just can't focus on them. But in all honesty... What the heck?! This was intense from start to finish. Shelby and Meghan seem like the sweetest girls, Connor and Hunter really carried themselves with class throughout. If they were scared, you probably wouldn't even have noticed. I'm beyond impressed with the quality you have been putting out lately, incredible job! when they were talking about the floor having "rotten" spots, that immediately reminded me of the rotten floors that they showed in the conjuring the devil made me do it (yes I know its a movie), but it just seems so similar. Usually a sign of rotting on the floors can indicate something like a curse being put on the house or negative presence. That's so creepy. I hope they stay safe and seek help asap. that's what I thought of too! especially when they said that only one area on the floor was re-done, like one specific square, I kinda want them to try digging that up to see what they find
I’ve heard some scary ass stories about people living in crawl spaces or attics. Hinterkaifek murders come to mind. That’s terrifying to think about, hopefully they are able to get through this fine. I hope for their sake it IS something paranormal, it’s less scary than people living in your crawl spaces or walls. Good Job Colin, always on point with the content.
I can't believe that remains unsolved. I cannot even imagine how someone could kill 6 people and live with their bodies for days. This kind of stuff happens ALL the time. People hiding in homes has always been one of the most terrifying things to me and dozens and dozens of cases and stories came to mind during this video. I was truly scared while watching this and not much scares me these days
This house needs going over with a proper thermal camera regularly to actually see if some of the activity is a creep from the neighbourhood and they need to get surveillance cameras, inside and out.
My wife and I experienced a story very similar to this about 10 years ago. We lasted about 4 months at that house. When we moved out we finally found out that the house was erected right on top of 2 graves.
That was insane! I hope they thoroughly check every inch of their house for any covered parts of wall or entrances including behind stuff in closets, behind closthes in closets, behind/next to beds, etc. I'd try to find out where the crawl space used to be because even if it's covered it's still there and someone could literally be squatting in their house. I've seen and heard of this happening, especially in the colder months. Someone was in that house for sure. Thank you so much for extra long videos!! You guys rock 🤘🏻💀

I know that they weren't able to hear it until they listened to the recording but those poor girls. I say that because they look like they're in their twenties and I'm going to be 40 years old in February. There's something in that house & it clearly does not want them there. I pray to God they get out of there ASAP. Also, I would seriously suggest a Priest and an exorcism. Does anybody know what went on on that property or if there's something that the landlord could be hiding about that place? Were there houses there before that they ripped down? After listening to it a second time, it sounds to me from the words ledge, judge, homicide could the Father have been a judge? Did something go wrong in a case and they became the victim of it when it came down to like prosecution? Did The Intruders or whomever did this to this family steal jewelry? ( Just thinking of possible scenarios that's all) It'd be interesting to like put all those words that were said on the ovilus together! I don't think there's an intruder, I think something went on and those girls need to get the hell out of there! I worry because I see them like my niece's age or close too and that's frightening.🙏❤️
The Jackie Hernandez case in San Pedro, California, in the late 80s had a lot of crazy activity in the attic. I believe a strong spirit can make small objects disappear and reappear in a different location. Great video guys!!
From what I’m gathering, the reactions from words pertaining to sex trafficking and punishment were pretty often and intense. Also goes along with a front as in hiding in plain sight. Not to mention it makes sense if human trafficking and/or abuse was happening the windows would be glued shut. You guys need to research as far back as you can. About the land and people in the area. Seems obvious teens or kids were hidden up there. Poor things. I’d get the house blessed, and bless the souls there too. Stay safe girls. So true Jess. For years I’ve been watching deeply scary stuff to help me get away from my ongoing health issues. It takes my mind ‘off’ my pain for a while. I’d never heard of anyone else doing this and my husband used to think it was a weird thing to do! In my opinion only people suffering intense pain regularly can equate to this way of life. C & C, This is the best investigation I have seen to date. I watch a lot of different ones. This 3 he episode kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time!! I love the back story, having past tenants talk about when they rented the place, the girls putting pieces of the puzzle together, the investigation!!! Ty for all the work you do. As a prior apartment manager, Sometimes when they need to replace a bad piece of carpet, They will take a square out of a closet because it looks brand new and matches the rest of the carpet. You won't be able to tell where the replacement is but you'll see the missing square in the closet.

The landlord needs to unglue those windows. That's a fire hazard. Also, assume it is some kind of intruder, take appropriate action. If that doesn't work...yeah, you might have a haunting. If so, I think it's connected to the land rather than the current house. Slavery was legal in Texas, and enslaved people is what you might be hearing from. I don't think anyone was kept in the attic; it's too unfinished and easy to punch through the floor.
My thoughts on that window are as follows: One of the girls said that there is no screen on that window, so here is my theory, It's possible that someone else's panties/undies were being moved around and they could see that the screen had been removed. So, in order to keep the imagined burglar out, they had a friend or pro seal the window shut INCLUDING the latch if you noticed. When in reality, there is (and I'm not joking) a Perverted Poltergeist browsing the undies and playing tricks on the girls. It's also possible "it" gets some kind of pleasure or energy by scaring the shite outta the girls. Just sayin'. Scary Christmas!

I struggle watching most channels that deal in paranormal stuff and you're the first that changed my point of view on it and actually gave evidence and not enticing people for views and shit just doesn't seem scripted. 1) Essence of nightshade is a fictional plants from Game of Thrones. There are poisonous like Tobacco and Belladonna. Belladonna is likely what essence of night shade is based off. Belladonna berries are tempting as they are sweet but poison. Various preparations of belladonna are used as lotions, plasters and salves to relieve pain from sciatica, gout, and cardiac palpitations. 2} The seal on the window is most likely to keep drafts out, not keep people in. Grant it its an odd thing to do when there are better methods to use. That is Silicone caulking, the fact that its clear makes me think possibly aquarium caulk. It's rubbery and can be cut and pealed off the surfaces. Generally when you get Caulking loose you can peel it off in strips but not always.
What about the bars they said were on the window, though? I myself was trying to explain it away. It didn't have a screen, so maybe if the previous owner had a young child(Ren), a parent may have been worried about them opening it and falling out or something? Maybe whatever they used as caulk was whatever they had available at the time the screen fell out (heck maybe it fell out because of a child). Or maybe a teenager was sneaking out of the house. Idk. But the bars kind of throws it off for me.
@@LilyPedals generally speaking bars on windows in large cities is not unheard-of. Normally in reaction to an event like local burglaries. However not knowing the history of the house we humans tend assume the worse. That only feeds our fears and makes things worse. Often times what seems sinister has an innocent explanation. What is going on in their home is scary all on it's own. Eliminating the scary assumptions is important to finding the truth.
James my man. We didn’t assume anything. Just made guesses. It’s very odd to see a window sealed up like that as it’s a very hazardous addition to the home. Also, when taken into consideration the haunting, the things found by previous tenants and the many experiences, that’s when you take the sealed window into consideration as being part of a bigger picture.

Why was the window sealed? Possibilities may include: * Sealing people in that room. * Cold Draft from the window. (Could have been paranormal chills blamed on the window.) * A prior tenant may have had a party and a friend busted the lock. ( I say this cause when I was a young man I had a friend literally Kick my front door open in my apartment. We jerry rigged it to close again.) * ETC ... There are many possible reasons why someone would seal a window. That is all I am saying.

You can always go out of your home for scares, but there is something incredibly hopeless about having that darkness stuck in your home. This has been one of my favorite videos that you've made!! The earring situation has seriously made my jaw drop. My thing is, if it were a person that moved her earring to the attic... why??? Why would someone break in and take ONE earring and leave it in the attic?! Would love to see another investigation in their house because this is probably some of the best and most unexplainable evidence I have ever seen! When i was a kid i lived in a place my mom, little sister, and myself KNEW was haunted. We would hear heavy boots on the staircase (no men lived with us) and stuff would always move, cabinets would literally be SLAMMED in the middle of the night. I used to feel something watching me all the time there. After like 5 years we moved out and eventually we all told each other what we heard and felt in that house. Our neighborhood was pretty bad so my mom thought someone was in the house but when she would check, nobody was there. It’s a terrifying feeling that you can’t stop or see the stuff going on. I definitely believe that ghosts/spirits can move objects. I live in South-Africa and my uncles house is extremely haunted. One night when I was house sitting for them I slept in their bedroom with the door locked because I was scared, so anyway I was completely alone (or so I thought) now I drink sleeping pills and I rarely wake up when I'm on them but that specific night I woke up from a sound coming from their door and when I got out of bed to look the door handle was literally going up and down like someone or something was trying to open it and when I said you are not welcome in here my cousin's one toy that was in the living room went off and started playing music. So I went to the living room (still don't know why) I looked at the toy and the switch was off...
Oh my god. I created this account just to reply to your comment, Annecke. I’ve never met someone before who experienced the moving door handle phenomenon before! It happened to me two times at different places. First time was when I was home alone, taking a shower and I saw the door handle move up and down as if somebody was trying to get in, thankfully I locked it. Second time was at my ex best friend’s place and I was in the bathroom, preparing myself for bed as it was late at night. The door handle moved and I called for the person who was doing it, but no response. I flipped and stormed out of the bathroom, finding my best friend chilling on her bed. She wasn’t even near the bathroom at that time and she said she didn’t hear anyone approaching the door. These two events have legit traumatised me because I haven’t been able to find an answer and people see me as crazy when I tell them about this. I’m so glad to see someone who also went through this shit.

Solve the crime, ghost disappears?? Naaaaaaaa When questioning during the estes with so many people, write the answers down and deal in facts , not feelings in your line of questioning. Decide who will question ahead of time and take turns!!! Write your thoughts down, don't say them in the moment. so arm each person with a pencil and paper. Better and less confusing for the viewer for sure. Of course there will be crosstalk, but not as much. I think that is also why the spirit kept yelling at you guys too! As a parent, I can tell you that as your kid ages you tend to keep things they have outgrown in case you have another child or you find someone who can use them. Just wanted to give you a legit reason to find stuff of a child's in the attic. Its possible the replaced areas of flooring is because of the termites.
Poltergeists have a lot of power behind them. If they can move doors, knock things over, turn on water, effect electricity then they can move an earring. One thing Ive discovered is the moment u underestimate a spirits capabilities, will be the biggest mistake u make. Stay vigilant, stay safe.
I’ve lived in quite a few houses where the master bedroom had a cutout of the carpet in the closet for safes, and in some cases we weren’t told about them or had their keys transferred over. It could be something more sinister but I lean toward this answer more, which could be interesting as well since it most likely hasn’t been opened in a while if there is a safe down there.
Along with getting cameras changing the locks to all the doors and doing a complete search of this property it might be beneficial to look up the history of this house
I think it’d be great if when you do the Estes method, you split the audio and record it. This way you could play it under the video like you do with EVP recordings. This would help verify the evidence you capture. Your strive to forever improve creates amazing content, keep it up!
Seems classically poltergetic. Objects being moved from their locations, knocking/footsteps, scratches. I wouldn't be surprised if you found the lighters up in the attic as well, if that's where the earring was. I don't think it's a person breaking into the house. You'd have noticed if the space seemed "lived-in," you can almost always pick up on signs of a habitat area, even if its been a while. also no thief is going to take one hoop, they'd take the set. having a singular hoop missing is more suspicious than misplacing a set. They'd also likely hide it closer to a door or an exit point rather than in the attic, psychologically they'd be looking to exit from the crime so they'd move closer to egress routes, not an attic they couldn't get in/out of easily. at that point it would be easier to leave the earring in the room and just grab it at a more opportune moment. If you'd found the hoop in the garage I'd of agreed someone was breaking in. There's also no way someone was moving from the attic down into the house/vice versa without you hearing that big ass metal ladder unfolding. open the frame of the picture, see if there's any print information about the photo or anything inside of the frame itself.

man, i feel bad for them having to live there and knowing, especially now, beyond any shadow of doubt, that something extremely unsettling has a presence there. i mean, i don't know how to heck you receive that revelation and go about your daily life. you'd literally be scared to close your eyes on at night for fear of there being something there the moment you do. it's surreal beyond words and there really isn't any other way to describe it. all in all, the trailer for this episode did an amazing job setting up everything. big kudos to the Paranormal Files for doing what they do. it's also an aside, but i remember hearing the name Sally. didn't the people from the Sallie house say that she/it would show up at other investigations here and there even after they'd be gone from that house? it may just be a coincidence (fairly common name) but i felt as if it were worth mentioning.
