I think the reason was he was so annoying since he cursed a lot so someone decided to mess with his synesthesia beacon (universal translator) so whenever he cursed it's that way lmao

I am not sane about Boothill, his design is so damn good. I think Penacony went a lot heavier with the references just due to the vibes of the planet. It's very hollywood.

The moonwalk is more of a reference to Devil may cry, there was a scene where Dante had a cowboy hat and he did an entire little bit where he moonwalks and does an MJ impression and THAT scene is a reference to MJ. Just a little fun fact.

Yah between his appearance on Penacony and this trailer I really want him. He has a style that is just so unique. Just so you know he's actually the first dedicated Break DPS in the game. So unlike most DPS you don't want to build him with ATK and Crit but actually Break Effect and speed. He's going to be fun to build since he works completely different then any other character currently in the game.

Boothill on a horse? That would be funny. But there are no horses in Star Rail. And if there were horses, Acheron probably already killed them before we got it in our heads we'd get a playable horse character #JusticeForDukeInferno

His kit is another one that relies on break effect which is great since that means he synergizes with both a buffer and a sustain who are both f2p.

I can't express how much I love this character, and the ones who did the trailer love him as the same. All the beautiful classic references, makes everything just sooio thrilling. It's like the entire Hollywood in 4 minutes, to me he is officially the coolest character out there! He is the embodiment of charming and dope!

Definitely pulling for him. I have designated him my HSR Simp Character. For Genshin it was Itto. I think I had him either C2 or C3 back when I still played Genshin. For Boothill this will be the first Character I pull a sig lightcone for. All for the Cowboy!

@@SorarikoMotone if I had kept playing Genshin I probably would have put more into my boi. I had a C6 Gorou that I ran him with. I dipped after Wanderer's first banner tho. So far I got Boothill E0S1. He took me to pity both times but at least I won both 50/50s. I'll probably wait to decide if I try for E1 or not.

I genuinely did not expect to like Boothill as much as I do before he showed up in the story. He was kinda suddenly... there with his drip marketing and I was rather "eh" about him. But good lord, as soon as he made an appearance, he just won me over SO fast. Can't wait for his banner next week and for you to get through Penacony in your playthrough!

Love this trailer and his character so much 🔥 but. To pull? I just tried to E1 topaz and failed plus I want firefly. so I'd have to swipe. And my sushang and Clara are built. I skipped argenti for the same reason 🥺
