whats very interesting is that all people talk about is the percentage of fights picked right. its not hard to get lots of picks right if there are lots of large favorites and that's never taken into account. What is impressive is when you compare your pick success to the success of the betting favorites and your percentage is higher. That's why I think it's stupid to just look at "I went 8-4 on this card" because some cards have wider matchups than others. For example, I went 5-0 on UFC 301 main card, but my pick of Anthony Smith showing Petrino levels was by far more impressive than the fact that I got all of the other 4 correct. In this video all 12 of your picks (including the WMMA one) are favorites for the fight, which is why if you "bounce back" and end up something like 9-3 or 10-2 on the card it's not as impressive. But that's just my take - 8-4 with a big underdog win is a lot more impressive than 9-3 with picking all favorites - for example.
