Yep! Still a super unstable situation for Unity, and considering that Backrooms 2D is nowhere near finished, if there's ever a time to move, it's now :)
@@JujuProdGamesyo, i dont know if you received the email or not, but basically, if you have a personal lisence, you don't have to pay the fee, and they are even removing the splash screen.
@@haffey2 True, but the splash screen is only when you upgrade Unity to the newest LTS version where Unity can apply licensing stuff in the future. Despite the rollbacks and the CEO firing, people are in general concensus that Unity is still not trustworthy, and while I could believe that Unity gets better from here, the people behind the bad decisions (the board), are still around, and I'm not gonna wait to see if things get better; I wanna take action myself.

I watched your last video where you added the pitfalls, to make the game more interesting, maybe incorporate still 2-D aspects but different angles in 2d! like for the pitfalls still the same game mechanics, but shows him walking from the back! 💪💪🔥🔥💯💯🗣🗣 ps love ur vids!
I made a really similar game on scratch and I had no idea you made this. I was following a ray tracing tutorial (to make a 3d game), but I ended up with something like this.
It's strange how many people prefer Godot as a game engine over anything. With this much game engines around there, I don't think I'll ever know which one to make a game in. I use basic engines like roblox, which probably is a good decision for my age, but If I ever wanted to pick an engine to make a game in, I'll probably just not find out.
Godot is open source and has the MIT license meaning whatever you make/earn is 100% yours, with no 30% cuts like Roblox, and ever since the Unity install fees came and left people felt like unity couldn't be trusted. Roblox is a good starting point though (i currently know how to script with luau). Starting to learn Godot and GDscript. xD
I still have that game on my Chromebook and it still works why would you delete that game it was a lot of fun. The only thing that you needed to fix was the ad problem. 😢
Love the videos! I have always wanted to make games and have joined some of the lives in the past. With the you edit and describe info in Your video is more entertaining than most big youtubers. Love the content, and never stop posting! Edit: why did you post so late?
Man that sucks! Im thinking about one day ( If I stop being lazy ) getting into game development. Im glad I waited till the Unity changes, because if I had started anything and had all of my creations destroyed, im not sure I would have has to will to carry on. Good luck and keep at it man!
I was working on a few games previously but not too worried about this since after trying other engines I realised Unity is still superior. If you look at unities runtime fee site it rly isn’t as bad as people say.
I'm slowly considering that I shouldn't be a game developer. But I have way too many good ideas for games and mods (I must become a game developer (no matter how confusing all the game engines might be, no matter what the game engines do, I must)).
Don't let this discourage you, if anything now is the best time as more people than ever are trying to learn something new and you can connect with them :)

I have an idea for the next update for the game once you figure out Godot! Entity 167 (Party Host) How it works: It bosses around the Partygoers, telling them to move it around with a table and if the Party Host senses a player, it makes the partygoer run towards the player. Design: A cake made of flesh with tentacles and a human eye on top to see Partygoer helper design: A creepier version of a regular Partygoer I added the Partygoer helper design part as an idea for people to tell the difference between a regular Partygoer and a helper Partygoer, it also makes sense because Partygoers that are bossed around by the Party Host actually are more dangerous than usual. I hope you consider my idea because it's something I thought of since the Backrooms has Party Hosts. (I edited my comment because of the final few parts of the video btw)

@@JujuProdGames okay so: new game mode called: endless, every 5-10 minutes it'll switch into a random level and 2-4 entities are there (survive as long as possible) and should add difficulties too, like easy, medium, hard, and a lil to hard buddy. AND: add funny Easter eggs. I just like Easter eggs lol.
