They are gay and European. But also - their "action" was much more tame in the manga. So maybe people take them being bros - from that. Most likely cause especially in the year it was released Japanese manga magazines were not ok with gay shiet. But it is obvious that Araki wanted these two to be as gay as possible, and added in the anime scenes and sexual tension only confirm it now.

If it’s the same people they should watch the next episode if not then your family or someone else should like react to JoJo Bizarre Adventure from the beginning or give them a episode and see if they can watch it from the beginning. PLEASE ITS SO WORTH IT! part 5 is so worth it too!!!! If you continue watching part 5 I honestly won’t mind but anyway I’d enjoy it from the beginning, the first season and episode
