Seriously, I struggle with picking my Wish-Characters, too. Why is it always that they bring up my favs in a row and I had to choose on them so much? TvT

Unless you're talking about those fodder 3 star characters and items in every gacha game that all you'll do with them is use them as food. It doesn't matter how much characters there are, expecting to get a 4 or 5 star character with every pull is stupid.
that very same wishing system is what makes it fun, the feeling of saving for a long time and getting the character you want is amazing... and you will get those characters, eventually

Genshin is very addicting i got a keqing on my very first pull playing genshin MY VERY FIRST PULL its like the genshin gods were telling me to keep playing and yeah i did i know main a lot of characters people dont usually main like klee , razor , and keqing (sorry if this reply is waaay too long)

I got bullied into it by a girl I like, and I spent about 2 and a half hours on the game, and got 2 5 stars in one pull. None where diluc, but it made me think that u could pull 5 stars all the time. So I played for like a week straight. When I realised I wasn’t enjoying the combat and wasn’t pulling any 5 stars I kinda just quit lmao
That’s terrible, I hate getting bullied into things 😂 I’ve rage quit too many times to count because I hate the combat too, but the puzzles are kinda fun and the free 3D background references (sorta free ‘cuz the hours I’ve put in this game…I don’t wanna think about it X,,D) keep sucking me back in. I get stuck on a challenge though and then I leave it for months. Like now. ‘Cuz I spent all my time leveling an electro character. And he’s not effective against the stupid electro god ☹️ I wish there was a mode that was more relaxing. And more story driven. BUT NOT the teapot because that is disappoint on so many levels 🤣

Genshin was basically the game I've always wanted ever since I was nine. Open world, great story, pretty characters with cool designs, exploration. If only the resin system wasn't a thing XD but other than that, yeah Genshin is a life choice lol
Breath of the wild is the same thing, the only difference that I can see (haven't played the game so I'm not sure ) is that there are girls with less clothing.
You can't forget the rituals involved in pull parties. We had one who was obsessed with Kazuha and one obsessed with Klee. We spent about 10 mins setting each ritual for each, and both got the gold and won the 50/50 in the first 10 pull at 13 pity and 33 pity. Never forget your pulling rituals!
My main team hasn’t faltered since the day it was formed- Kazuha, Albedo, Raiden, and Qiqi. To be honest, the team was kinda just the first 4 five stars of different elements that I got. And they work really well together in my opinion.
So glad to finally catch a RU-vidr with a positive experience in Genshin! I'm really enjoying my wonky team of Yelan, Bennet, Dendro Traveler, and Lisa.
My friend got me into Genshin Impact about a year ago and I love the new updates. It was kinda hard understanding the character’s move sets, the artifacts, and the weapons. But mostly the artifacts. But now I’ve been doing pretty well with finding out which artifacts are good and which weapon best suits my character lineup. And I have been doing an amazing job at the game and I’m so exited for more to come!

My friends downladed Genshin in March 2021, and every single time i met them they asked me to download it, they even stole my phone twice trying to do it by themselves, so in September i couldn't resist anymore and i downladed it. Worst mistake of my life, but also best choice ever.

Yeah, all the people around me joined the cult and I felt really left out so to get my social life back I had to join too. Conclusion: I still lost all my friends. Some to life matters, some to death. But now there is Genshin, and honestly, it is all that I have.
Every time I speak about Genshin I remember how right before 2.0 came out I started tracking all my primogem activity on an excel sheet. I still have it. It's like ~5 months of data.
She's still the best healer! She heals better than anyone else The issue is that that's kind of all she's good for...and most players want more damage than she can dish out
qiqi's good at healing but that's it. and that's sort of why she's not a good unit. units (especially survivability support characters) who are only good at one thing aren't that good bc of a multitude of reasons. 1, there aren't many situations where you'd be losing that much HP in the first place which would require someone who heals as much as qiqi. even with corrosion around, shields still hold up in meta and are generally better due to immunity to interruption 2, you can get other healers who have more utilities to their kit, kokomi jean and bennett are all great because of that. 3, qiqi can be clunky to play, high energy burst cost but no energy regeneration on top of having a long elemental skill cooldown, she needs copious amounts of ER to get her burst off and have smooth rotations
my favorite team is shenhe, diona, chongyun, and xingqiu. aside from shenhe theyve all been with me since i started around late 1.2-1.3. shenhe i got as soon as 2.4 launched and shes the only 5 star i plan to get constellations for. theyre great and i will sooner delete the game than replace them
Anchovy dilemmas are too real 😭 I was set on pulling for Venti because he's one of my favorite characters but tried out Ayato and had too much fun with his swishswashing so I spent a couple of days trying to decide on who to pull for first. Went with Ayato because I usually feel neutral about playstyles and I have no regrets because he came home at 12 pity. Then I got Venti. And Haran 😌 With Chongyun and Barbara, they make my fave team!

Just recently I pulled on the Arataki Itto Banner and got Itto TWICE so that was fantastic. My ultimate team of choice is Itto, Kuki Shinobu, Xingqiu, Eula
okay okay okay im so excited to see someone talking so positively about my fav game! My fav character is Yanfei and by extension of that my fav team revolves around her (Zhongli, Yanfei, Xingqiu, Geo Aether). I would love to take a Qiqi off your hands too! I always liked her and she's even better now with the clam set :D can't wait to build my main dps Qiqi whenever I get her.
I'd say my current team has been the most enjoyable so far. Its a freeze team that consist of kaeya, yelan, qiqi and kazuha, I really invested alot on them and I enjoy all their playstyles and lore. Honorable mention would probably be my tazer team which has ayato, raiden, qiqi/jean, and kazuha ^^

My personal favorite team is my geo bros. Albedo, Gorou, and Itto. Do have Kokomi in there for healing, but if i could get another claymore and the right artifacts could swap her for Noelle, who can act as both shielder and healer
My current best team is Kazuha, Zhongli, Klee and Raiden Shogun. I love the reaction pyro and electro make, I think swirling is super useful in dealing damage, and I always try to have a shield user on my team for defense.
I haven’t played Genshin in over a year, I remember last playing it in March of 21 because I got too busy with work and had to choose between Genshin and League to balance my time and guess which I picked lol. But now that I’m kinda trying to stop playing League I think I’ll try to come back to playing Genshin.
Rational team is my favourite.... Because of it's sheer power and ease of use (and also because I get to see Ei's Ult animation quite often in that team)... Other than that I like my mono geo team with Itto and Gourou ... And ofcourse Taser teams are always among my favs
I've been playing for 4 months now and I feel the same as you about saving wishes for certain new characters being f2p. Since I was in no wish mode before I ended up collecting a lot of them, so now I don't feel so cornered. And, yes, I agree 100% with everything about Beidou
I played Amber for the longest time because I like the bow class of weapons. My first try I got Ganyu whom is literally just a better Amber, so I use both with Venti and Qiqi because I think she is just adorable.
Had no problem on getting the 5 stars I want... till I lost 50/50 on Raiden rerun banner, and got the wrong electro archon. Still that got me a guarantee for Ayato... and apparently, the weapon banners loves giving me limited 5 star bows... only limited 5 star bow 😭 I failed to get Ayato his sword.

My genshin team is Venti, Bennett, Yae Miko and Chongyun. C1 Venti is perfect when I want Mondstadt Fried Chicken. He also makes sunsettias and apples a lot quicker to gather. I've been playing since 2.2 and right now I'm at AR55. It's been fun so far and I haven't even spent any money on it.
Venti... VENTI.... A while back, I convinced my parents to spend like 30$ on genshin, just because I love venti so much and I NEEDED him on my team. After a lot of begging, my parents allowed me to spend my money. And do you know what my dumbass did? I was so excited I clicked the wrong thing and spent the primogems on AYATO'S BANNER. AND GOT AYATO. For more salt in the wound, afterwords my dad was like, "hey, did you get what you wanted from that game?" me, choking back tears: "yeah... *sniff* i did..." And now you've over here, a non-spender, with C1 Venti? Why are we still here... Just to suffer? edit: yes, i built ayato still and use him on my team. Not just gonna waste a 5-star...
The Kokomi or Raiden debate was a strugglleeeeee. I didn't even have either quaranteed. (Luckily I did get Kokomi, My fish waifuuu). I no longer have access to my console and I cry, because I really want Shinobu. She gives me Akali vibes and I must have.
My favorite team is definitely my ganyu reverse melt team. Ganyu Xiangling Bennett and Diona. It just destroys everything and I haven’t even finished building Xiangling yet I still need a pyro dmg bonus goblet.
The team that i like the most is a team that my friends actually criticize. Zhongli, Ningguang, Fischl, Xiangling. This team is super versatile, it can easly deal with lilterraly any enemy. The only one that can prove annoying are the geo spectres, but fischl can take good care of them. This team got everything. Shield, massive damage from overload and burts. Ningguang can replenish her burts almost instantly. It's super easy to create shards. It can be used in every situation without caring of range or environment, and it can be run with a focus on burts ore normal attack damage, and both are huge game winners
my fave team is the Raiden sunfire overvape comp! it’s comprised of Raiden (obviously), Bennett, Jean, and either Xingqiu or Yelan! you can get some bonkers dmg with the team - in the last abyss my Raiden’s burst did 141315 dmg on the initial slash 🤩✨
I've been playing since day one and have probably spent $60 on the game. My current team comp is Xiao, Tartaglia, Fischl, and eventually, when I finally build her, Jean. Tartaglia and fischl are a really good combination in my opinion because once you use Fischls skill or ult to get Oz, he constantly inflicts electro for a while and in that time you can use tartaglias skill to deal a crapton of hydro dmg and kill most small mobs in a few strikes. Xiao is there for the dirty work of summoning particles while dealing nearly 40k dmg each skill strike that crits (current crit is at 75 CR% and around 200 CD%). I currently just switch my last character to someone who isn't at companion lvl 10 yet so i can get that achievement of getting 16(?) characters to companion lvl 10. I'm going to build Jean as a healer and possible battery after I finish my current goal, which is to get all my characters to level 90. I have 34 characters (including travller) with 13 maxed level and I just finished grinding all necessary materials for the rest, until I ended up pulling Shinobu as character 34 messing everything up and putting me on the grind again.
my favorite team would probably have to be my xiao, albedo, bennett and childe. tartag is only in the team because he buffs normal attacks by 1 level and the moment i get sucrose ill slap thrilling tales on her and replace tartag with her.
I'd say my favorite team is my Yoimiya team (Yoi, Rosaria/Mona, Diona, Venti), but my strongest so far would be the Razor team I've been running with the longest (Razor, Xingqiu, Diona, Xiangling)

My favorite team will change over time, but the team that I like using the most has: Xiangling, Yelan, Yanfei, and Kuki Shinobu. I only recently got Shinobu, and I already like using her. I was hoping to get Chongyun when I rolled, but Shinobu was fine as well.
Imagine not haveing the mental strength to not pay money every time you see a new character. So far the only character that’s avoided me is Xiao (both reruns) but I got every other 5 star that I wanted. Zhongli, Ayato, and I’m guaranteed Kazuha. (I also got Hu Tao and Ayaka but I wasn’t trying to get them) also my favourite team is Ayaka, Hu Tao, Ayato, and Zhongli #funovermeta

YEESSS! Finally, a fellow Beidou Simp. She's my main and waifu. Even though i have 5stars like Keqing or Klee, i still use Beidou. Her skill is really satisfying, that Full-Counter really carried me throughout my gameplay. Plus she's a Pirate captain😳 and really gorgeous. I like her design so much.
I started playing this game around 6 months after it came out, when Childe's banner had just finished and Zhongli was introduced. I never spent money on the game, even though I tried to buy the welkin moon once and my credit card holder rejected it for spam even after I went in and authorized it. Did research and people were having issues with customer support back then not helping them or they never got their crystals even though CS claimed they did. So I'm 100% free-to-play until after my vtuber debut. I didn't get into it at first but fell in love with the art, the music, the landscapes, and the characters right away. Just recently got Zhongli on his 4th rerun and I love him but he's weak (need to farm for him now, lol). Out of all the 5 stars I have, I got C3 Jean, Diluc, C3 Keqing, Venti, Childe, Zhongli, Albedo, Xiao, Ayaka, Itto, Yae Miko, Ayato, and Yelan. The characters I prefer to use currently due to their levels are dendro Aether, Xiao, Albedo, Bennett, Fischel, Yae Miko, Diona, and Chungyun. Albedo was my first and I relate to him a lot so he's always on the team, same with Xiao (my second) and best boy Benny.
My favorite Genshin team (and my dream team) would be Xaio, Alhaithum, Bobbaman, and Bennet. But my current favorite team is Aether with the wind element, Bennet, Collie, and Barbra (sometimes Albedo and Xenxing)
The banner he was talking about the eula debut banner funny enough I got both zhongli and eula back to back with no pity what so ever and no guaranteed I got zhongli first then I started wishing on eula banner I didn't think I'll get her but she came so fast🤧
My favorite Team is my freeze comp which includes: Kazuha, qiqi, Rosaria, and ayato I am a kazuha main and secondary qiqi main and have found more fun opportunities with this new team. My original used to include yanfei and razor who now lead some other comps that I enjoy switching into every once and a while ^-^

I share an account with my roommate and we have similar tastes so it works for us. Our main team is Aether(Geo), Zhong Li, Xinqui, and Kaeya. Zhong Li and Xinqui are support with shields, healing, and buffs, while Kayea is our main DPS, backed up by Aether. Meta peeps we know Kaeya is not an optimal main DPS, but we have fun and can complete content so that's all that matters to us.
My favorite team is: Barbara, Ayaka, Xiangling and Chongyun. Ayaka is a stable dps but in my team she doubles as an enabler for xiangling since she is able to apply cryo so quickly that xiangling ends up melting with her burst almost all the time. Chongyun reduces skill and burst CD with his constallations and cryo infusion if needed by xiangling. He also acts as battery for ayaka's burst. barbara gives hydro aura for freeze and heals if needed.
