awesome collection, you know it would be funny if you added the Ghost Buggy from Let's Go Ghost Busters cartoon even though they're not made by Columbia Pictures XD
Awesome video! Do you have a tutorial for installing lights/battery pack into the 1/24th scale Jada Ecto-1? I would absolutely love to do that to mine!
Man, I found the two little lights I put in the front light bar, literally on the ground when I was walking around got home plugged it into a battery I saw it worked and thought it was the right size took off the front light bar put them in there then just ran it through one of the holes of the light bar screws through the roof and the battery pack, glued it to the roof on the inside with the switch facing the open window . I wouldn’t even know where to find the lights since I literally just found them on the ground
@@alphadiecast I guess I'm biased because that's the one that I had as a kid, but when you compare it to any of the other toy versions, it's larger, has lots of great action features, lights and sounds, and just overall an awesome toy.the newer Hasbro plus versions might be a little morefilm accurate for sure, but they are small in scale.the extreme Ghostbusters ecto-1 is the one that I usually display with the other figures and until Hasbro decides to hunker down and actually make a 6-inch scale ecto-1, this is the one that I prefer to haveon display, not just for its size and features, but just for the pure fun factor. Especially when you compare this version to the recently released ecto-1 for the new movie. Which is absolutely pathetic. It's like Dollar store quality. What just goes to show that the toys made back in the day, we're actually a better quality. I can only imagine a 90s version of the Frozen empire ecto-1, that thing would have been awesome.
@@petersmithyy4556 the problem is people back in the day we’re making toys with kids in mind and making them as cool as possible and fun as possible. But today they are only making toys with money in mind. what’s cheaper to make. Easier to make. so they can make more money. and the extreme Ghostbusters ecto is definitely the best one because it has so many gadgets and it just looks cooler overall!! I also displayed that one with the Figures and the firehouse it just looks the best
@@alphadiecast yeah that's what it seems like, if you look at any of the Kenner toys from the 90s, for the Jurassic Park line or the Batman movie lines and even the ghostbuster line, the toys were of a much better quality and it just seemed like they put more effort in the detail and the features. I think the problem with today is well, is that kids are on cell phones and in front of some kind of stupid screen so maybe fewer kids are using their imaginations the way that we 90s kids used to. I truly believe that if you put out a quality product you will get back the residuals in full. But there seems to be very very little effort today, aside from Star wars or a few other lines that seemed to actually care about the quality of the product, it's very hard to find.
@@petersmithyy4556 I totally agree. Honestly, our generation was the last one to actually enjoy childhood. Kids nowadays only care about trends and being on their phones. It truly is sad.
@@alphadiecast Lego sets are limited time on Store shelves, and after that, prices go up insanely fast, + this ecto is discontinued like this year, so think faster) + you can open and build the set when you will have some space.
Did you ever consider the partworks build version that came out? It came out first through eaglemoss then through Fanhome partworks companies. Just asking.
