Well... Actually no. He didn't planned to get defeated by Hashirama. Rather he planned what will he do if he failed to kill Hashirama. His plan is only to get power from Hashirama. And what to do if he did kill him or if he didn't able to kill. So ye he planned to get bite of his flesh if he didn't able to kill Hashirama.

That in itself was a hint that the message had been altered. Not to mention how Black Zetsu's machinations explains how Kabuto could find Madara's corpse (considering that before this Kabuto had no reason to even look for the body, considering Obito was claiming to be Madara).

Young Obito is adorable. Basically the Uchiha Naruto. Vic’s voice fits him perfectly too. I like that he has the same voice as Ed. Madara’s voice is so great too. I will never tire of praising it. Glad we finally get to see Lindsay’s reaction to the opening. Its really solid. It sounds like a detective styled opening and it perfectly fits in that theme and vein given that a revelation of secrets and discoveries are being made at this point of the arc which are all really major. Looking forward to the eventual reaction to the Obito ED too. It’s so good.

When ever I listen to Madara's 'wake upto reality' speech I feel like probably Madara's way indeed better. Neil Kaplan did a great job here By the way Nagato was indeed special. It was because he was a Uzumaki and his incredible chakra reserve that he could carry the Rinnegan.

You need a balance, which is why the whole show revolves around the opposite sides working together, and anyone who does fucked up shit becouse of the entertainment they consume was fucked up to begin with, 99% of people can differentiate reality from entertainment which is why killing people in gta doesn't make you a murder..

I think the MK skills just match what the person really needs. Just like Sasuke could control Amaterasu flames because Karin accidentically got hit by those flames. So Obito Kamui was to make him intangible because he really needed it at that point, but I don't think he escaped the rocks becoming intangible otherwise his body wouldn't be all crushed.

The number 1 theory among fans is that mangekyo powers, since sharingan works off emotion and the mental Chakra that can turn imagination into reality, is that they are formed from what the user is feeling or has been feeling in the moment or moments leading up to the eyes awakening which makes perfect sense with all the mangekyo powers in the series, like Obito gained the ability to phase because it's what he needed to save himself and because it represents what he was feeling when the eyes awakened, he didn't want to live in reality and started to feel like a living ghost of a person, so his powers made that real for him.

I did some math and the amount of canon content in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden is around 106 hours. that's about 44% of the whole show's runtime (minus the ops and eds), which is the same proportion of episodes that are labelled as filler in the anime. Another thing the whole show could have been just around 318 or so eps, which would be about 12-15 seasons of 20-26 eps each. Now imagine that, 12 seasons of Naruto with near Top tier animation, or at least no shit animation, it would literally be all decent to amazing animation. Only draw back keeping it from being a great anime is probably the final part of what most you guys know about.. sad that it was so close yet so far from reaching it's true potential

It´s creepy the way Obito tries so desesperaly to escape from Madara´s cave but he is unable...so he had no choice but coexist with him, listening to all his speeches, his words, his perspective of the world, everything....Madara keeps talking to him about dark twisted stuff and the poor boy only wanted to go back to the village to see his comrades. Many people blame Obito for being Madara´s puppet but: he couldn´t escape, couldn´t move cause his body was severely injured and mutilated, he had the accept to live with a weird criature tissues attached to his body, he no longer had the needs of any human being anymore, he was isolated from the rest, couldn´t see the people he loved for who knows how long? All those things will have a huge impact in Obito´s mind and soul.

Obito was pretty much seen for the first time in Og naruto when Hiruzen and Orochimaru fought, There were some panels which shown generations of Konoha shinobi like 1> First and second Hokage (teachers) with Hiruzen, Danzo and other 3 2> Hiruzen (Teacher) with the Three Sannin. 3> Jiraiya (Teacher) With Ramen Guy, Sasuke's mum and Minato. 4> Minato with Kakashi, Obito and Rin (Their design was also quite different than Shippuden ones too)

OKAY HOOOOLD UP ... i've seen this episode many times now. and i'm just noticing now....in the flashback (6:15) Obitos scars are on the wrong side of his face... they should be where his sharingan is. the side with his sharingan is the one, that went under the boulder. also in the close up right before the flashback (5:30), you can confirm that.

Tomorrow’s episode is going to be one hell of a ride….can’t wait. To explain the Madara fight ending - because you tend to forget the last comment Madara made to the 5 Kage before we see him again next to Obito - he says “I’m embarrassed to have to do this twice.” It’s implied he resummons his Perfect Susanoo and just beats them outright. The reason it’s not shown is it’s not going to even be a fight thereafter they literally just die/lose so it was a waste of time to animate it further. Instead it’s implied he resummons Perfect Susanoo and just ends them.

The reason why Nagato was selectively chosen to be gifted Madara's rinnegan is his Uzumaki linage, because of the Uzumaki clan's immense powerful charka, they have a strong endurance towards any disease or lethal injuries, case in point Kushina surviving the extraction when Obito yanked Karma out of her, ONLY MINUTES after she just gave birth to Naruto. Extraordinary ninja would die trying to get a Rinnegan to work, not even Obito who's kage level could handle the power of the Rinnegan hence why he only has one, and why he hasn't used a single rinnegan ability because he has to preserve all Rinnegan power to tame the Tentails.

So only reason Obito cannot use Susano and Ametherasu is because they can only use if both eyes have Mangekyo. ( Meanwhile Madara use it with..... u know what I mean) So. Obito speciality is Kamui. Sasuke speciality is Kagutsuchi. Shisui speciality is koto amatsukami. People say Tsukiyomi is itachi speciality. But still sasuke says 3 powers default to Mangekyo..... So it has to be Susano, Ametherasu, Tsukiyomi.. (3 children of God in Japanese religion)

Why does nobody ever notice? It's the wrong side of his body that is crushed, it's the wrong side that has the magekyou sharingan eye when he faced Konan with the paperclones, and his mask broke. It's all wrong, which is why I originally stated that it couldn't be Obito. But... The author ignored all of those inconsistencies while writing.

The rinnegan its not merely an evolution of the sharingan, thats a misconception. It will be explained later. It's not really a spoiler, but lets let her watch for herself. Carsen, i will remember you. The rinnengan can only awaken after the sharingan if an uchiha has the cells of an senju Spoiler: In other words, if someone has the cells of both ashura and indra (the sons of the sage of the six paths). Meaning, an uchiha cant NATURALY awaken the rinnegan,.

It's a bit disappointing that you didn't discuss predictions once Madara showed up. Realistically it''s Bee, Naruto, Kakashi and Guy vs Madara and Obito +10 tails and there's no way they should be able to win.
