Hey Holden love your channel they are making The Kingsman 3 titled Blue Bloods its been announced, I do recommend you and Jen watch the prequel theres so many twists in that movie you won't see coming good luck to you both on your wedding
I don't know if you can understand or handle the humour, but have you tried "Nina Conti in Therapy" - bad language, adult conversation and extremely twisted humour... Don't take it seriously, it's comedy...
@@leftofpunk the main reason for that was cause of Channings schedule. They wanted him in it more but he was super busy with other stuff so couldn't commit more time.
Fun fact, my friend doubled for Padro Pascal for the whipping and trick roping scenes. He's a professional trick roper, gun twirling, whip cracker! He has a RU-vid channel of you want to see. Michael Brian Rawlins is his name. Great reaction, I love this movie!
The King's Man is definitely worth seeing. It has the same flavor as the original two films but set against historical events of the early 20th century. I wouldn't bypass it if I were you.
IDK, it felt very tonally inconsistent and even though the last 30 mins were pretty good, overall it was pretty dang stretched. Ralph Fiennes killed it tho.
I hope in Kingsman: The Blue Blood we get something like the Canadian version, where they're all Lumberjacks. I love the idea of each country having their own secret service based off their specific stereotypes. (non-offensive ones, obviously)
@@mikloking1738 Matthew Vaughn during an interview about King's Man: "...and then we have a Kingsman 5 planned, after Kingsman 4... it's-a-it's called "The Blue Blood", I can say that... or maybe not."
Personally, I felt like this is another example of a sequel being just as good as the first movie. I know that not everybody agrees with that, but I just love this movie so much
It's not a terrible movie, but it definitely does not compliment the first film. They spit on everything the first film set up; killing JB, Roxy, the entire Kingsman agency, Merlin, reviving Harry, etc.
I kept hearing this movie was bad so I held off on watching it until after I recently watched the Prequel The King's Man a few weeks back and I already had the first 2 in my possession. I loved this one despite all the criticism it got. The wackiness Made me feel like this was a classic Roger Moore Bond film with the action updatedd to that of a John Wick film. My favorite moments have to be the choreography and camera work when Eggsy schools and Kills Charlie with one arm behind his back and finally that final fight scene with Whiskey and the 2 Kingsman.
Me and my gf couldn't even handle the first 20 minutes. Had to shut it off cause we just got annoyed. So many horrible jokes that neither of us got. And these anal jokes, god... Like I really wonder who their target audience is.
This movie came out shortly after Prince died. It was the first film besides Prince's own films that had his music. Prince never allowed his music to be used commercially. Once he passed away, his family ok'd it.
@@Jconlin86 for '89 Batman it was a bit different. He was hired to write music specifically for the movie. They didn't use stuff from his already existing catalog.
I like how its subtly implied Jeff Bridges' character is a former addict, as he only sniffs cigars but never puts them in his mouth, and tastes bourbon but never swallows it
There's not really such a thing as "former addict", you pretty much remain an addict for life but manage to stay clean, or relapse back into your past addiction.
The same piece of music used for Harry’s Remember scene, was also used in XMen First Class where Charles helps Eric begin to realise his power. This movie uses it so much better however, and in addition to de-aging Harry really well, is extremely impactful and emotional. Good Luck with your wedding Holden and Jen!!!!
Yeah, Elton John's appearance got teased earlier in the movie. In someone's house, can't remember whose, there was a newspaper article that said "ELTON GONE" on the front page.
yeah but i don't really understand why it was on the wall. Last movie we were told that Harry put those aticle pages on his wall to show all the missions he accomplished what mission did Egsy accomplish with the Elton article? Elton had not been found yet
@@SharbtursGameCorner Harrys articles where real life events that coincided with a day he did an important mission, poppy says in the film that during valentines plan in the last movie where he was kidnapping celebrities she took the opportunity to kidnap Elton john this coincides with eggsys mission
“Darling, if you save the world, you can have a backstage pass!” Only Elton Goddamn John can be that flamboyant and still rock any movie theater, turning it into a stadium only moments prior.
Holden, from the UK here and burgers are one of my favourite meals, at least for me… Watch you both all the time, congratulations for the wedding with love all the way from the UK 🇬🇧
I feel like the first one was so good because it came out of nowhere, if this one would have came out first it would have definitely been as good but a lot of people are comparing them. This movie is just as good, just different cuz you don’t wanna repeat the same movie over and over like most franchises do. I like how it pokes fun at the bond movies and other spy movies. The villains usually have good intentions with there missions to get you to agree with them just do it to extreme mesures. I’m excited to see what they do with this franchise.
Interesting little tidbit about this movie that connects it to two other movies 1. Channing Tatum is in this film and it uses Country Roads 2. Channing Tatum is in Logan Lucky with Katherine Waterson and that movie uses Country Roads 3. Katherine Waterson is in Alien: Covenant and it uses Country Roads 4. All 3 movies came out in the same year.
I wouldn't consider Roxy as dead yet. They show her making a dash for an escape so i would expect her to come back in the next one after The King's Man unless she doesn't want to come back to the franchise.
Also, the whole Harry being alive thing was not kept a secret, they put it in the trailer. Which was unfortunately cause I would have liked to have gone in blind. Still one of my favorite movies.
To answer your question about how people feel about burgers in the UK, I'm getting married soon myself and will be moving to the UK. From my time spent there, I noticed quickly that burgers were pretty popular! The main difference being that regular cucumber slices are added rather than pickles. I've also noticed hash browns being a regular option for an addition to them as well lol.
@@emperorleachicus2199 I wonder if it's all the local places I was at in Wilmslow. Places like Verrazano, I think Spinaci.. Not sure if Mills did it too.. There was a few others, and none of them ever had any options for pickles, only cucumbers lol!
I guess we're seeing the end of My Girlfriend Watches. Looking forward to My Wife Watches. Are there any movies that Jen has seen that Holden hasn't? "My Husband Watches"?
The guy who shot the fight scenes is very inspired by anime which is why he films it in the way he does. And I found out that he and I shares the same favorite fight in anime.
Fun fact: at swedish weddings, the bride is not escorted to the altar by her father while the groom is already there. Instead, according to swedish tradition the bride and groom enter together.
You guys should REALLY watch “The Kings Man” with Ralph Fiennes! I loved it! It’s a prequel and it’s so cool to see how it all began. Also you should watch the Elton John Movie where Taron Egerton (Eggsy) portrays Elton John! (If you haven’t already bc I did not scroll all the way thru to see what I miss) Great reaction as usual guys!
Tarin Egerton was also one of the finalists for the young Han Solo, before Alden Ehrenreich got it. Wonder what he would’ve done, but I love Alden’s version a lot as well.
Personally, I don't think Roxie is dead. She is a highly trained agent in a bedroom likely with an ajoining bathroom, and is shown diving out of frame. I would not be surpised if she went for the bathtub to tank the blast then went underground since she probably assumed everyone else was dead
Seeing Channing Tatum in this makes me want to see his Gambit movie everything I've heard about the Gambit movie script sounds really cool a Rated R mutant Goodfellas movie set in New Orleans sounds unique and interesting to me especially if it's in the Deadpool side of the Fox X-Men movies universe is so fun sounding I hope it gets made someday man
One thing that didn’t make much sense was that the villain said she doesn’t trust people which is why she has robots. But she has only 3 robots, the salon robot and the 2 dogs, the other 50+ are humans. Never added up
yeah we do eat burgers in the UK, i think we might have more variety in what burgers you can have, personally i don't really have burgers often but they are good
Should have had another or one of the American agents helping the brits while quoting the 5th verse of the star spangled banner. "If a foe from within strike a blow at her glory, Down, down, with the traitor that dares to defile The flag of her stars and the page of her story!"
There was once a twitter thing about Egerton playing Wolverine in the MCU. I don't see it, I don't think he would be right for the character. However, I could see him playing a variation of Jimmy Hudson, Logan's son from the 1610 universe.
I’m in the UK and I love hamburgers! We just call them “burgers” though XD I usually have mine with Gouda, Cheddar, gherkins, mayonnaise and mustard. Maybe halloumi if I’m feeling fancy
Taron wasn’t in the running for Spider-Man. The three it was down to were Tom Holland, Asa Butterfield and Charlie Rowe. At the time of auditioning they were looking for someone between 18-21, Taron was 26.
So canonically speaking, this could be the final video to be shot in the Apartment. EMOTIONAL DAMAGE 💔 I bet this apartment was his long before MGFW so this place has some sentimental value. But if it really is, then let it be known the Apartment Saga is now over.😪
Elton John was asked to be in the first one and he declined. He says that when he saw it in the theater he called them up immediately and said if they do another one he wants in. This one is just a hell of a lot of fun and craziness.
Shout out from Kentucky! Only the rich ranchers are like ole Channing Tatum! The rest of us… well… it’s like anywhere else! Lol a variety of crazy! Much love from Jamestown Ky!
