Learning about Joss Whedon's dark side is as painful and sad as learning about Bill Cosby's. Let us remember that Joss not only directed the first two Avengers flicks, he also wrote their scripts. His wit shines through. Whedon is one of Hollywood's three or four most talented and intelligent writers. His personal weaknesses are our loss.

For all agent coulson fans I think the agents of shield tv show is really good. Although the first half of season 1 is very cw-ish but once it ties to the events of captain america 2 it really gets awesome, same for the cgi that grows to become almost movie like in later seasons.

I remember being suuuper excited when this came out. It was the "biggest" movie I ever thought could be possible. Watched it at least 5 times in theaters.

Agents of Shield is so underrated - but I feel like Jen would actually like it if she can push through season 1

I have a feeling that Jen will end up liking and defending the mysterious being from the end credits when she learns more about him, "Everyone has a bad day".

This movie had all the beats of a silver age 1960's Marvel comic.

“Captain America doesn’t want to go digging around to find out what’s going on” ummm... he was literally digging around the helicarrier trying to find what Shield was hiding! lol Cap’s character is literally all about challenging authority when they are wrong, not blindly following orders, and trying to live up to the ideals of America not just America as it is.

I remember when this came out I was blown away. Little did I know it was only the beginning!

All the snacks Tony had on the helicarrier was actually just RDJ bringing stuff on set and eating it whilst filming

The Avengers 2012 was amazing for its time. The hype of seeing these characters be in one film was mind blowing. I saw this many so many times in the theater. Looking back at this film I see so many flaws. Dialogue , character development & stakes. Ever since the Russos came in. They gave the same respect to Captain America like they did in the First Avenger. Joss definitely made a joke outta him & weak. Jen will definitely fall in love with the character. Can’t wait to see her reaction for Thor 3. So different 🤣

I am excited for Jen! She is in for some sweet sweet cinematic moments to come! It literally only goes up from here...I know some feel differently about certain upcoming MCU films but still think they are all pretty damn fun in their own right.

Jen u should watch Agents of Shield tv show based on how much you love Coulson!!!!! I won’t say anything but I think you would enjoy that show A LOT even if you guys don’t watch for this Y T series and just watch on ur own 🥰🔥 glad u loved this movie it was really well made. I dunno much about directors so i don’t know what the controversy u guys were talking about (him being a bad guy) but this film was so well made 7.5/10 for me! PS: i hear ya with linking Thor the most (wink wink wink 😉🤣)

Seeing Avengers for the first time was incredible for me. My brother and I grew up watching the superheros on tv and loving them, so seeing the characters and even things like the Helicarrier and the Avengers Tower was so amazing for us. But even more, being able to sit next to our younger siblings, and introduce them to the heroes we loved so much and watching them fall in love? Best part of the experience.

The quips about Black Widow's tight uniform and "Its Joss." - Her uniform in Iron Man 2 was just about the same PLUS you had a scene of her changing in the back of Happy's car - in her bra! Not directed by Joss. Yes he is an asshole, just establishing that her character has always been a bit sexualized even in the comics. And heck later in the movies they talk about Cap having America's ass - and shirtless Thor and Cap... its a thing with superheroes not just with the ladies...

A gratuitous ass shot will forever be known as a 'Joss Whedon'. Seems appropriate!

I love the symbolism with the camera panning around the sceptre so that the Avengers are turned on their heads. Just like the world they once knew or at least thought they knew gets turned upside down when Loki and the sceptre show up

My favourite MCU movie to date. Just seeing the team come together for the first time was magic.

I was glad to hear Jenn say that she used to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and liked it. That's one of the best TV shows of all time. There have been a lot of reaction videos on RU-vid to it in the past few years. It's great to see newer generations loving the show.

Today I saw this video and Jen watching Captain Amercia: The Winter Soldier. The way that she talks about getting to know the characters over the various movies is very insightful and enjoyable. I'm subscribing just to see her reaction to the ending of Infinity War and the opening scene of Endgame.

I recently noticed something. For most of the movie, Banner refers to the Hulk as "the other guy" or in the third person, such as "the Hulk saved my life." There's ONE place where he doesn't do that. After he falls from the helicarrier and is talking to the security guard, he asks "Did I hurt anybody?" For the first (and I think, only) time, he includes HIMSELF as the Hulk. I'm not sure what it means, but I find it interesting, from a psychological point of view.

Like how the Subtitles says "he's adultered" when Thor says "He's adopted." XD

The best thing about these video is watching holden trying to hold his tongue whenever Jenn asks a question. 🤣

Ahh Jen said she likes Loki!! Yes she is awesome! I love Loki and Tom’s portrayals of him, so it was really cool seeing someone else appreciate Loki from his beginning. I remember her talking about him as well when y’all watched Thor.

It’s fun to watch Jen almost apologize for loving Tony Stark so much. When I first encountered him I thought he was just a complete jerk. Wasn’t happy when I started to like him! My “favorite Avenger” changes from time to time, but he’s always in the top two.

Avengers is easily a 9+ for me. I've rewatched it so many times. I was in awe of how successfully the experiment played out and just how well balanced and purely entertaining the movie was, surpassing all of my expectations. It was and is near flawless in my eyes. Knowing what comes down the line doesn't change that for me; those just maybe push it out of the top 3 slot for me, because hot damn, Marvel kept finding a way to make movies in a way I never thought movies could be (and pushing that bar again and again and so far by the last few big ones).
