Drive a 19' Esseesse myself, and love how when you are in high gear and go full throttle, the car instantly within milliseconds becomes loud once you reach 3000rpm and full turbo pressure, like a dog suddenly giving off a warning bark :D
I would like to test drive one of these. Somehow I think these are more fun and enjoyable to drive on country roads and in the city than a bigger high powered car. A lot of them are so over engineered that the car is driving you instead of you driving on how you want to drive. One thing bothers me and that is the fact that you are driving your girlfriends car .. does it mean she is driving yours when you are making these videos?
very good driver...its the first time I see the speed on ipc like that...reach for about 230km...damn...I have 595 abarth auto dualogic 2015...bmw e46 2005 convertible...fiat bravo 2011 dualogic ...3 cars and no once I drive any of my cars for over 80 km speed...I feel scared of speed..anyway I enjoyed the video
@@dawidtfthat's right, and it depends on which model you install too....it's better not choose the last one because you can not change some things like lights, language,...
with series 3 of the abarth fiat/fca introduced a new function in the ecu to prevent the engine/exhaust noise from becoming too loud. to get this right the ecu at some point cuts down the power totally for around three seconds at full throttle delivering a total power failure. according fca this is working as intended to keep the cars noise emissions within legal law. G-tech themself at least until april 2019 were not aware of this issues and not able to solve it.
I have an Abarth 124 Spider. My girlfriend is very interested in the 595 Competizione. Sadly no Fiat car dealership is able to give us a test car for an hour or something. She wont buy if she didnt test drive one of these. I dont get it. Our Fiat dealerships here in the Ruhrvalley are so bad. Where are you from? Any chance of letting us test drive the Compi? I will let you use my Spider as a reward. :)
No need to say that, it's not old. Little car is designed for that and that engine can handle it. Stock engine internals handle 260 hp and 360 nm without issues for a very long time. Saying years
Technically the Fiesta ST is indeed better. I bought an Abarth, though; it's just so hilarious to drive. Can't get that kind of emotion from the ST or Polo GTI (which are actually one class bigger, the real competition in its own class for the Abarth would be the UP GTI and Twingo GT, which both come 70 HP short compared to a stock Competizione).
@@bloodknight667 You're so wrong about the ST, it's a much better experience in terms of fun and pure driving feel, the Polo on the other hand just feels like a normal car.
@@ilpatongi I tried them all when I went shopping for a small hot hatch (I did not want a compact one because compact cars have become so huge nowadays. I tested the Focus ST for laugh, though. It was good, a bit aggressive for a daily, but great). The Abarth won for me because there was nothing fake about it, the sound generator in the ST hacked me off, I must say. I also didn't love the seats much. That said, I would still buy it over the Polo, no question there. The ST seemed to be much better value for the money.
It is like the VW UP GTI in Performance. The 1.4 litres engine has not enough draw compared to same Price-Level cars who are way faster in end speed and 100-200. But it is funny on small sideroads i can imagine. And in the end, if you dont look on the Performance, the subjective Feeling matters, especially for women. Have fun driving and drive save :)
You are right man, but this little 1.4L (T-Jet version) handle over 250 cv with stock internal! Here in italy is a common mod to install a bigger turbo (TD04-13T or Hybrid TD04) to get 250cv without any issues (I know many people who have done more than 40.000 km). From many tests done, with 260 hp the time of 100-200 is about 11/12 seconds which is ridiculous for this little car!!
NO ME GUSTO
same price ? i've paid 19k for mine , brand new , can't buy a new fiesta st or polo gti , they are not in the same range . Believe me this is a real fun car to drive ;) and yes there are much better ones. but I can't buy em all
glenn opstal i paid for my Polo gti 21k with few extras. And it has 200 hp with Dual clutch transmission. I bet you can get the gti with no extras for 20k and if the manual transmission is avalibal maybe for also 19k. Maybe its Not the same fun to drive, but the polo is quality wise way better.
@@Balticdreams got one and in sport mode the steering wheel becomes heavy and you immediatly get the feeling of being safe as a driver. You just got the feeling you are going 300 while it's "only" 180-200. But the car is made to go over 180. Suspension etc. 😁
I have a punto with 215 hp and 330 nm on a good 1100 kilo, no to hate but I crush a gti with that hp for fact. I won't get near 270 km h but I think you should check it with a good GPS because your speedometer is way off I believe
