"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.
The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

MDP is my favorite ALDC rival. Those girls are so talented with skill and synchronization along with Erin Babs being a talented choreographer. Its good competition to watch each time.

I love the aldc and think they did great and the number was incredible, but I don't think it's fair that MDP got third. Their number was incredible and had a lot of emotion. Aldc was really good, but I feel like MDP deserved to win.

the ALDC-dance was worse. Didyou watch Kenzie at 4:59 or JoJo at 5:18? They didn't deserve a win over the technically nearly perfectly dancing MDP's (the girl turning 7:04 is amzing, from the rotation into the held extension)

And then I love when ALDC goes to confront them and Erin is all like “our girls self esteem is SO high, I assume yours would be as well, to where you can say fun stuff like that.” And all you can think is “with a teacher like Abby, you SERIOUSLY expect their self esteem to be high?!?” I still laugh out loud every time Erin says that to them in that episode.

I thought MDP’s dance was amazing, dont get me wrong. I don’t think they deserved third place either, but the reason they didn’t get first imo was due to minor deductions. There were a few stumbles in their turn sequence and at some parts there technique was off. Staged or not they wouldn’t have won first because the ALDC was technically flawless when compared!! Just putting that out there

MDP’s group dance was basically just kicking their legs, jumping around, and turning. The Rose Garden that the ALDC did, the choreography was different and they weren’t do the same thing over and over again. The ALDC deserved to win.

Also if you watch the ALDC carefully and try to count along 1-8, the girls are hitting every step and stretch to the same rhythm synchronically but the moves are so tricky and staccato, it doesn’t just follow a “1 & 2 & 3...”. Watch it back and you’ll notice how hard it is to count along - THAT is impressive.

Honestly, everything about the rose garden dance was amazing: the nails, the makeup, the costume. Each of the girls (especially Mackenzie she really stood out to me in this :D) looked so so good and their dancing was flawless!
