I'm figuring out the stiff rod for spoon/jig rap baits, definitely makes a difference. I cant do longer than 38 in my otter cabin though, not enough room.

Hey Tom, I would be curious to know two things in this Garage talk series: how do you store/carry tackle with you on the ice (specific to each style of bait and plastics if you use them), and secondly, what are the fingerless gloves that you use in your videos on the ice?

Tom, which rod specifically from the odyssey series is that you speak of for pan fishing? The 40 im guessing?

Probably the best tackle video I've seen so far this year. Great explanation of presentations and rod choice. I'm working within my family budget so it great to hear from other anglers about what they are using and how they are rigging and using it.

Acme rattlemaster was by far my favourite lure last season. Caught everything on that slim profile bait🎣 they sold out so fast here in Canada, so I’m definitely stocking up more this year

In regards to the Elliot Odyssey rods, is there any reason to go with one of the shorter offerings? I’m looking to add one to my line up for crappie fishing but not sure what length.

is it possible to fish a hyper hammer on the 44 light? i don’t wanna buy a 44 light and a 42 medium if i’m only going out maybe 5 days targeting walleye during hardwater

How do you feel about the 45m-xF for a general rod? I’m looking for a new, longer general purpose walleye rod. I have a fleet of another company but they only go up to 36”.

How do you store those rods? Was thinking about getting the 44in elliot rod but there isn't any cases that will fit that rod length.

Have you tried inline reels? And if so what are your thoughts on them? I haven't seen you ever use one, or mention them, and was just curious.

If you couldn’t get bait, would you try any artificial as a dead stick? Maybe a hair jig with scent?
