@cantn763 Get help from @TeamRU-vid on Twitter (it's X now). Remember to sign in Twitter with another email address or just create a new account if you signed in Twitter with your lost gmail. They will ask you to fill out a form and submit your information and disable your gmail. Then they will send you an ultimate recovery email and you can recover your gmail.

I have to say, Gmail is so trash, ill admit, I should have made my password stronger at the time but now I can't recover my Gmail because someone changed the recovery email and so far, after research, the account is lost, basically Gmail lets people steal others accounts and let's them get away with it.

If you got such a e-mail on PC and opend it, can you also just unplug the PC Internet connection cable, change on your phone the password and kick out your PC from your Google account?

That may work. But you need to finish these at the first time you are hacked, you just have 30 seconds or less. My account was hacked and changed the password in two minutes.

Thanks for your help, Andy. But just to let you know, if Team RU-vid doesn't find activity they deem suspicious on the RU-vid account, they will not help you recover your gmail account. My phone was stolen and 2-factor authentication was changed as well as my password and recovery emails. I've tried account recovery many times. Does anyone know of a workaround here?

I may ASSUME that you have to be connected to the internet to let hacker collect your data. So I would just turn off the internet for my computer and use my phone to change the password. It would be even better if you do a recovery backup for your wimdows so that you can just go back to one day before. All your files are still there but the virus is gone. Anyway that's my assumption, because last time I got jacked I was able to defeat the hacked within 10 minutes by using google account recovery website, another time I got some kind of virus so I just entered the system in a save mode (internet off), copied all the necessary files to my usb drive and reinstalled windows completely.

Hi Andy, Well exactly what happened to you just happened to me (This isn't even my real google account). I wasn't a Twitter user but I did what you said and started a twitter profile.
