This should be illegal! If you pay for a lifetime account when you sign up they shouldn’t be able to remove your account and make you pay for a new account!

Nah, It's basically to remove all the low quality apps or non supported one in this case. It's better for the overall ecosystem, Apple does some what same. You gotta pay 7k/year at Apple, if not then your account is terminated in 180 days.

@@rohitpillai they already have a process to clean up the play store. They will remove apps that are stale for too long this is not about removing apps this is completely removing accounts and then making devs pay again for a lifetime account. It's a money grab. They also can suspend accounts and have the dev have to reactivate their account when they are back active, but they wouldn't get any money out of that solution.

Do not sell or upload others app in your account most of the apps are malicious and eventually it gets our account banned and we will never able to create another account Recently I fell for this kind of scam and my account got terminated

We can't recover our accounts once a Play Developer account has been closed due to inactivity. However, you can sign up with a new email account and purchase again
