@@LucasCatania17 Looks like Fred nailed his predication, who would have guessed that you be be at all most 12k subs...I'm going to buy a GP to start grabbing shots of my 5 yr old make turns...any suggestions as I am new to it all and I'm a bit nervous that editing will be overwhelming.
Damn Lucas - always wonderful content! Appreciate all the high quality, phenomenal views (from the slopes through the deserts), positive vibes, informative content and laughs throughout your vlogs. Think it’s time to rewatch all the seasons 🤘 Salute
Great Video. Thanks for the insight. Great to see how you capture such awesome videos. I love that you start with a story and use your gear to capture that!
Bro I’ve been binge watching your videos these past few days, specifically the ski videos, as I’m getting ready for the season as well. Love the content. Keep up the great work. Whenever you’re in Alta or Snowbird, let’s link up and shred it! 🤝💯
Love the content and cant wait to see all the new stuff for this upcoming season! You deserve so much more recognition man. Idk if i cant find it but do you have a video about the software aspect of the videography of your trips? A video of stuff like gopro settings or how you decide when to use what presets when would help! Keep it up brother!
thanks zach! i really appreciate that. i am working on a video that talks about the settings and editing and things like that so be on the look out for that next!
John! Thank you man. That means so much that you chose to support the Channel monetarily. It’s people like you that inspire me to keep going and making videos. Thank you!
Love this! I’m sure everyone who like to vlog appreciates this. I suppose sharing settings details would be helpful! Your footage is amazing so maybe after sharing settings, or discussing different settings for different scenarios you could give a little editing tutorial?
@@LucasCatania17 just keep going! Your content, shooting & editing is so advance. You’ve got incredible talent so just stay the course and people will continue catching on. RE settings and editing that would be cool …. Would continue this Episode and kind of complete the convo …. You know, because anyone who wants to know about gear also wants to know about shooting & editing! Thanks for replying so quickly!
That’s awesome, I always wondered how you got such high quality but also really active shots. Question, what are you doing with your old cameras, I’m looking to get a GoPro but they are all so expensive and I’m in high school so I don’t make enough money just to go out and drop 400 on a GoPro.
thanks jacob! im not really sure yet. i'd love to help you out with a camera, so let me think about that, but they are kind of beat up so id feel bad handing down a beat up camera haha!
Can’t wait for the footage from you from the new GoPro Max. It’s gonna be so sick. What do you think of adding the max lens mod to your ski pole camera?
thanks ryan! im stoked. the only reason why i wouldnt add the max lens to my pole camera is because i like to use whats called an ND filter on my lens to give me some more realistic motion blur instead!
Would there be a possibility or a way i could get in touch with you so you could try quickly explain how to use Cannon Eos R and what software you edit with… It makes your videos look amazing
@@LucasCatania17 thanks! I use Corel Visual studio. And it seems it’s easier to edit and adjust cam360 angles in the GoPro app then move them to VS where they get trimmed and added into with the other video formats and finally rendered. Idk I’m pretty new to videography 🤣
Use the gopro player to render out the 360 clip and then use the gopro fx reframe plugin with premiere to edit it. That’s how the max was designed to be used
I like the angles but you should pick either the head gopro or pole gopro for a run. Having both is dumb bc pov is half covered by your arm and pole and pole cam has a big gopro on your head. Pls look and this make it more lit thanks
GoPro dies almost instantly in any kind of cold. Total garbage! Can’t believe you, and others, don’t call out how many issues the cameras have: glitches, dying in seconds etc. Otherwise, great footage!
I actually haven’t experienced those types of issues to be honest. I’ve used GoPros for almost 10 years now. Obviously, they aren’t perfect, but overall I have been happy with their cold weather performance which is evident in the footage I’ve captured.
