I moved to pune from haryana with my husband right after marriage. It was a 1bhk flat. But I used to love every corner of that house. We lived there for 3 years and then my husband switched to bangalore. This video made me too very emotional. May be because I remembered how difficult it was for me to leave my first home after marriage. Itni yaade thi us ghar me. I remember the day luggage was shifted I cried whole night while remembering all the good times of that housetill 4am and then slept. Its so difficult to leave a place which gives you so many lifetime memories no matter if it is rented or government quarter. Bhut pyari video hai Shruti. 😊

Omg..... It brought tears to my eyes. Loved the video. It took me back to my childhood home. I can understand the feeling of a home that is temporary. One is always under the dilemma of settling in. Shifting homes in a govt job always leaves one with an unsettling feeling. They can neither attach nor detach but can only savour new experiences of new places. The narrartion and voiceover made me to stick till the end of this video. Being a son of a "sarkaari officer", I completely relate to the types of residences, I lived, in 8 different cities and towns, changing over 7 schools. I often used to complain about the dingy ceilings, visible electric wirings on the walls and what not, but now when I'm going to join college, in a couple of months and probably live in hostel, I will surely miss those homes, the supporting staff, guards, where I made sweet memories for time immemorial.🙂

I can relate ,my papa being govt. Officer used to get a transfer order every 5 years , we were all shifting to new place in new quarters, new school / college, new people, we were all adjusting till new transfer order came. , And once again I left everything and went to a new place !! Sometimes it's been soo difficult to cope with new locations !

Your way of expressing the simple things in poetic way is extraordinary... Ur simplicity is awesome... I am also living in govt. Accommodation through not for IAS... the rooms are small in size.. But the time i am here.. It's my house... The feeling of decorating the house is magical.. I also bought some stuff from banjara market.. Ghar toh sajana hi hai.. Jab tak iss ghar mein hai☺

बहुत खूबसूरत लगा श्रुति जी आपका घर, आपने बहुत खूबसूरत तरीके से इस घर को सजाया है और उससे ज्यादा ख़ूबसूरती से इस सबके बारे में बताया है, मुझे इस वीडियो को सुन कर और देख कर बहुत अच्छा लगा। शायद एक दिन मेरे पास भी सरकार द्वारा दिया गया सरकारी घर होगा जो मुझे मेरे घर की याद दिलाएगा।

Why I am feeling so emotional after watching this video, each and every words resonate with me ❤ when you change your home every 2 yrs but you still manage to adapt the situation n make the new quarter your home again .. falling in love all over again with each n every corner, flowers n .. that stillness..may be that’s the spirit of a queen on wheels 👸
