To everyone watching this video, Brandon is probably one of the most useful resources out there. The guy doesn't bite (or bark for that matter), he is actually competent and knowledgable with study habits and how to actually be efficient. He has also talked to many, many professors and researchers and is super humble about his experience in this area. Use this guy to the best of your ability! (Sorry Brandon 🤪😂)

Hey I’m John and I’m currently in grade 12 but I got an admission to u of t, and I plan on going there this fall. So please can you make a video about choosing courses and something called subject “POSt”, I heard that u of t stopped doing subject posts and you get into your intended program straight from high school but I still see people talking about it everywhere and I’m really confused. I am also waiting to see the video on how to study and manage my time to get good grade like you. Keep up the good work man👍

This question is not exactly related to this video but I just wanted to know more about how to choose my first year courses at UofT and also about choosing what type of lecture you want (in person or virtual), just things related to that. Btw what are some skills we could develop before taking on a life sci research opportunity/starting work on independent research, on our own, say like learning how to code and all/other dry lab skills since wet lab opportunities are rarer because of the pandemic?

Hi!! Are there any good job opportunities after life sciences undergrad degree? What would you be known as after getting one or even after masters, as in a prefix like Doctor/Engineer? Thanks!!

Life Science degrees usually translate into a BSc - Bachelor of Science. Many job opportunities: physician, dentist + other healthcare workers; professor; teaching jobs; pharmaceuticals; biotech; and pivoting to another complete different field. Biomedical engineering is an option as well!

I took CHMA10, CHMA11 in my first year at UofT and got 85, 91 respectively. I would say I put a lot of effort in those courses more than my biology. I didn't take physics but I heard it was a killer course and a lot of my peers dropped out or failed it. You are actually doing very good compared to a lot of students.
