It’s nice to get inspiration from videos, hopefully that happens with one of the next vids I watch. I guess learning what not to do is as good as inspiration sometimes
LOL - Tricks that plumbers hide from you? Really? I laughed at the block of wood instead of the 45 degree cut for the corner, but 'ya really lost me at supergluing razor blades to a knife rather than sharpening it.
Yep, some of the "tricks" are outright dangerous. Several would be outright illegal in any country that enforced its plumbing and electrical codes. Most of what was shown has nothing to do with plumbing.
Guess I never learned that in the plumbers secret tricks college cause I never used any of these in over 40 years of plumbing and after watching this can't think why I would ever WANT to!!!
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from PSTC and was granted entrance into the Plumbers Secret Hall of Extra Secret Tricks where I also learned about making grinding discs out of cardboard and melting PVC pipes together using a torch made from cow dung and diesel fuel
It is stunning the stability a simple magazine can give the sawing hand (1:59) The hand was dramatically wobbling all over the place without the magazine.
that's right Because god created man and then he looked at man and it wasn't GOOD. Man wasn't missing woman, He was Missing a place to put his pencil so he did what any self respecting god would do, He got onto you God Tube and there was another God Tuber showing 15 HACKS FOR YOUR HUMANS and he saw one of them so.. he got out his drill and those ears that he picked up from Jaycar on special , 2 for a $1. He screwed them into either side of our heads so WE WOULD HAVE SOMEWHERE TO PUT OUR PENCIL or Cigar or whatever else, bubble Gum etc
even if you wanted the return feature for a pencil as shown, they sell those already made, and its cheaper than tearing apart a tape measure, finding the right length cord, and using a heat shrink wrap instead of elastic rubber that would accept new drawing devices once they wore out.
I been a new construction plumber since Jr. High...Own a very successful business today.....One thing is for sure....if you don't know how to improvise you'll never make it as a plumber.
@@professorstokes6596 I'll come clean, this is all ya need to know to be a plumber. #1 Shit don't run uphill. #2 Payday is on Friday. Pipefitter don't have to know that much even though we're in the same Union. (Y'all know who you are) Somehow this simple principal was condensed into a four year course. Yeah Hockey Jockeys everywhere !
6:54 if you don't want to ruin the mirror, take DENTAL FLOSS and two pieces of dowel rods as handles and just CUT the adhesive by working it back and forth with downward pressure.
Yea exactly, why didn't he use a picture hanger wire or like you suggested floss string to save the mirror. His grandfather didn't teach him correctly.
Nauczyłem się ucinać w szkole podstawowej za pomocą sznurka. Bardziej precyzyjna metoda. -----------I learned to cut in elementary school with a string. A more precise method.
Grandpa always was a little "different," and when he started gluing razors to the kitchen knives, grandma ran as fast and as far as she could. He didn't miss her at all. "That woman wanted me to buy one of those fancy-pants utility knife thingies all the kids are using nowadays," he said. "There's no reforming someone who's that far gone."
Love the Junction box trick! Several negative comments, but, like me, there are those that don't know a lot of the hacks so I really appreciate them. Thanks
There are very few of these you should pay any attention to. Some will get you hurt, others could get you killed. Anytime someone says they have a "hack", it's probably a bad idea. To be used only by hacks.
Where's the one with the pop rivet stuck into the WD40 nozzle? The hot knife isn't the same thing as the thumbnail. I was waiting to see him push that rivet into the can and watch that stuff blow all over the place.
What we know about this guy - he's hopeless at everything except tricking people into watching ridiculous videos. I have a feeling that phone scammers are switching to videos.
🤔Yeah ! - My Grandfather was dumbasfuck too ...If he wasn't fixing something he broke 😱 he was breaking somethin he couldn't fix 🤠 ...and he was a tight arsed bastard along with it - He wouldn't ever buy the right tools for a job and he'd save a penny anywhere he could 😖 - He was constantly coming up with all these same kinda useless and stupid ideas and he was forever making shite things for people who didn't ask for them or even want them when offered for fee 😕 ....BUT, THAT SAID - When he died he left almost a million quid between us four grandkids...so I can't really call him ! - CAN I ? 😫😢😩MISS YA POPS !.... YOU WERE THE GREATEST !.... LOVE YOOOOOO !... 🤣
Ha ha ha! SECRET TRICKS that only everyone knows! Ha Ha Ha! Did you see how he makes a cover for a bunch of exposed wiring that will short inside the cover?
Anyone following these "electrician tips" will have their home burning down in no time flat... and they can't do anything about it as they electrocuted themselves before the electrical fire started.
Some of these ideas are so impractical. I guess if you live in a 3rd world country and have limited options and lots of plastic garbage setting around, they may make sense.
