I love the rooing! We use to play the other dogs rooing for my grey, she would just do it on her own! She was an alpha female & was raised with males & had a deep roo! This is so adorable!

Oh dear! I have been looking at greyhound’s, thinking they are not noisy ! Wrong!! I live in an independent living senior apartment. Howling, nor singing would be welcomed by neighbors. They still can hear! I wonder if there is a deaf section!😊

Max oh how beautiful the songs if your people are! Our first hound Ava was a dominant personality and loved to roo but our XL boys have been more beta personalities and rarely make a peep except to ask to go outside. Now that Archie has full acclimated, we have seen him go from very submissive and somewhat shy to Mr Personality and a bit dominant. He’s ALWAYS submissive with my hubs but about 8 months in started showing food aggression with me. I feed him and spend 99% of my time with (I’m stuck in home is isolation awaiting a kidney & partial liver transplant) and am the one who trains him. I’m a bit of s soft touch and far more patient than my hubs so I guess he figured out I’m easier to get naughty with. He would occasionally growl at me if I needed to step around him when ge was eating or if I petted him when he had a high value treat like a bully stick. We used gentle correction and trading up for better goodies and he responded well with it. He’s so darn smart and I can liters see him thinking choices over in his head. He recently learned to speak/bark on command and with sign language cues. They are just so fun and pick up the training well if done in short daily sessions with the treats they love most. We’re currently working on spinning in circles on hand cue only but it’s going a bit slower. I love seeing Max sing the songs of their people!
