Hey Lana! So I have started to use the finger roll technique so I can stop using heat on my hair. I really want to grow my hair and I have curly hair like yours I just need it to grow. It is taking ages but I am hoping to use your hair technique and notice a difference 💓 I will give you an update.
as much as i love natural curl hair care i do get a lil curious if certain hairstyling techniques would work on curly hair the same way it could for a different hair texture? id love to see u try heatless “curls” to see what it would do or (for fun) see what products like the revlon blow drying comb would do for girls with curls that want a faster way to do their hair if u wanna straighten it. Literally tho you been my go to for yeaaars on not only bringin my hair back to health but maintaining it too✨
This is very helpful! Is there any chance you could do a video on how you refresh / maintain your curls throughout the week in a way that supports hair grow / prevents losing hair but keeps it looking defined?? xxxxx
What do you think about water soluble products? I used to use cgm friendly products that weren’t water soluble and then I joined a group on Fb that heavily promote WS products but I tried all they suggest and I don’t feel like any of them give me enough moisture/hydration or slip. I lost my curls and idk if it’s because I have water soluble products or because I wear my hair in a bun a lot or because of hormones after having a baby. I’m having a hard time finding a good product for my hair and I can’t remember everything I used to use before that worked for me. My hair used to be curly like yours now it’s wavy and after a day it’ll be completely straight.
I love the aveda masque, it's so rich and moisturizing! Although wasn't it protein-free? I remember that was one of the selling points for me when my hairdresser recommended it.
Ahh it contains plant lipids and it gets a little confusing but it was my understanding that lipids are proteins or at least help to transport proteins so can be used as a protein treatment. Maybe I'm wrong!
@@LanaSummer oke thank you so much! :D my hair is so dry and my curls are far from defined :'> I try to grow them for years now but they always seem the same length :'3
Me too! Mine is down to my bum/hip area, and my curls barely curl anymore because of the weight, and long hair gets in the way a lot, and putting it in a bun is heavy, so I've been wanting to cut it. But I've worked so hard to get it to this length😭. I'm gonna try not and cut😬😱😂
I am going to try styling my hair like this because when I rake my product in I have souch more breakage and shedding. I also have been air drying but i dont get any volume at my roots and my hair looks dryer. Should i use heat protection before I blow dry my hair on the low setting?
I used the same gel and it was horrible I have Afro textured 3c curls and the gel didn’t hold and flaked a lot but it might work for other hair types so I guess until you’ve tried it don’t completely hate on it this is just my opinion
Great curly hair routine Lana! We would love it if you would collaborate with us as we have some amazing products for you to try out. Please DM us on how we can work together! 😊
Good morning my dear 😘thank you SO MUCH and GOD BLESS YOUR HAIR, I love the way you do it less products, not 7 products on your hair. Can I used any oil for the pre poo.?

Okay guys any tips i recently have been experiencing moisture overload? Its not because i moisture to much its because i dont add no protein- i have low porosity hair so i dont own anything anyone have any diy natural or cheap but good products you’d recommend? To try and combat this i did a acc rinse to remove extra buildup and i skipped leave in conditioner (thats how moisturised my hair was no product after washing it)- its not overly damages like hygral fatigue it still coils after drying but literally falls in a day?
Try the Hask protein treatment conditioner. I had MAJOR moisture overload too and found that most products advertised as being protein treatments still contained way more moisturizing ingredients imo. But the Hask conditioner is rich with protein. It’s the only protein treatment my low porosity hair loves. I’d also recommend cantu leave-in or the shea moisture yucca and plantain styling milk for styling. I’ve found that they contain a good balance of moisture and protein without weighing down the hair too much. Works ok for me, tho I’m still figuring out the perfect combo myself 😅 I also wouldn’t really recommend diy or natural products 😬 they ruined my hair years ago. if u save up to buy them these products will last u at least a year
