I know this is a different kind of video... but I want to be transparent about my hair transplant. So that one day people dont have to guess if I got a hair transplant when my hair starts to grow. Nathan, thank you so much for sharing this insight into your journey! Beautiful video and very cool footage of Istanbul - loved it! But I totally empathized with your share. I’m a woman who had always had very long hair that I loved to care for and style. Then, about a year ago at age 42, I got breast cancer and had to go through 5 months of chemotherapy and lost every single hair on my head and the rest of my body. It took a very emotional toll on me because my long head hair had become such an important part of my identity and self-confidence. My hair is now finally starting to grow back after chemo but it is a completely different color/texture and will take many years to get as long as I previously had it. That’s totally okay of course, but I totally get what you said about the importance of doing what feels right and makes you feel like your best most happy self with regards to appearance. I’m grateful that you shared such an intimate look into this part f your life and I wish you a happy recovery and transition to the new hair 🥰

I started losing my hair in my late 20s. Been shaving for 15 years. I'd rather have hair but it's just the way the cards fall. Curious what the total cost was inclusive of the swank hotel and limo service. He skirted around it but I wish he was a bit more transparent on the costs. I'm sure he got a good discount for the PR.

It actually surprises me by reading the comments how common this is for guys. i obviously know it happens, but it seems like it's happening to so many. I can imagine the hit it takes on y'all's self esteem. Some guys really do good with bald or buzzed cut heads, but people should do whatever they want with their hair. Meanwhile my dad is 74 with a full head of hair. My family doesn't have the best genetics but I guess we are ok in that area

I lost my hair when I was 21. Never thought it would ever happen to me in a million years, or if it did, it would be when I was significantly older. Needless to say my confidence plummeted, I did what you did and tried to wear a hat at any given opportunity. I'm 31 now and I'm so confident with it and everyone tells me I look better with a shaven head, I genuinely think I do as well too. Looking back at it all now, I think It wasn't as bad as I thought it was and I probably made too much out of it. I think when you lose your hair for the first time it's such a shock, it's hard to deal with because you're so used to having hair and not having it makes you freak out and you think you look weird which Is 100% not the case. You've got a great shaped head and face for a shaved head. But I understand why you did the surgery and it's something all of us go through when we first start losing hair. Hoping you have a speedy recovery and thanks for sharing. Would have loved to have a video like this when I first started losing my hair.

going to be funny to see the progress, your hair wasn't too bad before so it should come out pretty good, I've seen some good results from people I know irl that had similar (afaik) procedures done in turkey also turkey is pretty much becoming the place to be here in europe for plastic surgery, you book with some agency, all inclusive, and it still comes out a lot cheaper wouldn't recommend it personally, but you gotta what you gotta do

Lost my hair at 22 in 2010. remember looking in Mirror and seeing a old man. I tried everything to grow my hair and keep from going balder. Ive been shaving bald since 2018. I love now a good shaved smooth head. When it grows back it annoys me

Nathan thank you for sharing your hair transplant experience with us all. I have a couple questions , first after your hair transplant how long did you stay in Turkey? did you leave 2 day's after your hair transplant or did you stay longer cause you didn't want the new hair's to get damaged? Also did you wear a Hat in the Airport when you was coming back? when you went through security did you have to take off your Hat?

Hey Nathan huge fan! As someone who is curently balding, would you suggest getting the surgery earlier in the balding phase or when the balding is extreme? I have read that going earlier will just result in having to go multiple times because the rest of your hair will fall out. Thank you so much

HELL YEAH ITS WORTHED !!! its once in a lifetime procedure ! This will stay forever so the amount of hours on this doesn't matter and there is no shame on this when you look good, also usually when the transplant is this professional your barber will never notice nor anyone else, Please update it !!! i cant wait to see the result !!!

Good on you. To be fair you like great even without hair, but its not about what others think its about you - as long as it makes you happy go for it. I got braces as an adult because it was something that bothered me :-)

I just assumed you had a hate surgically implanted on your head I've watched your videos for 2 years and have never seen him without a hat on lol.
