color oops isn’t really meant for fashion colors or direct dyes. it’s meant for more natural colors and semi-permanents. blue is notoriously difficult to get out of hair, even with bleach, let alone a color remover. there is still blue in pink, and then also the factor of the undertone of the blonde you had before the pink dye, which is why your hair turned purple/blue.
@@EnlightenedEncouragement3333 but orange is the opposite of blue, and if you want blonde hair yes it is hard and if the shade difference isn’t absolutely ideal it turns mucky brown. getting hair back to a true BLONDE base from blue is very difficult, done it a thousand times
@@EnlightenedEncouragement3333 if you use the opposite color, your hair goes brown. the goal is blond. Blue is impossible to strip out of hair- there are only 2 color removers I've ever seen work on it.
I fell asleep on red box dye for 16 hours. After months I was bleaching my hair trying to get the red out. Still barely even faded to pink. So, if you ever want color to last get black out drunk but after you finished the beaching process lmao

Its just something out of the normal hair color, do it cause you like it, dont mind others and if they look. I dyed mine blue and purple and i stick out at my work place because im the only one with what you can call a "weird" hair color but idc cause i wanted it dyed. Everyone loved the blonde and told me i shouldve stuck with it but nah, i wanted my bright colorful hair. Do it for you and ignore them. Im very self concious but when it comes to my hair, im surprisingly not.

You should have let the pink dye fade a lot more bc it would have gone back to blonde and helped the any brassiness of the blonde. Always remember your colour theory kids when dying your hair too!! To counteract the blue. Use a colour with warm golden/orange tones. For example: 5 is brown and .4 is copper. So you want 5.4 to get rid of the blue and get a natural colour back
Color oops only works with permanent alkaline oxidative haircolor, your pink was a semi permanent color which liquid color removers don't work with. You need to either use a dedicated direct dye remover , bleach and 10 vol or clear permanent color and 10 or 20 vol for direct dye (semi permanent) color removal. If all else fails, dawn dishsoap and baking soda
It doesn’t exactly look healthy, the ends need a good few inches off, however I feel like an olaplex treatment and a trim could restore it significantly.
