I've been asked how I store all my props after Halloween. So i decided to show how i store them until the next time Disclaimer: this video is not sponsored. any music you hear is provided through my editor app.
It occurred to me... it looks like you could have kept coming up with reasons to keep it going all year around LOL. I have a tiny space and nothing as nice and dedicated as that out building you have. Storage is a problem for a lot of home haunters. But you have a few gems: Nesting is a good idea, if you consider doing that when constructing them, and keeping the boxes so it stacks easier, and I already do that now. For strings of lights I keep them in heavy duty zipper bags so they won't tangle with each other. Thanks for sharing your storage ideas/system. I liked your haunt and wished I lived local to see it.
Thank you, For all the Christmas lights, i kept all the boxes for those and rolled them up and put them back in. So i can put all the smaller boxes in one big box. I originally got the trailer for my car and car parts. And extra storage. But as my displays got bigger, it seemed to pretty much take over the trailer. It still has my car parts and other items, but mostly Halloween stuff now, lol.
Thank you for sharing your storage space - I was curious what you did with the props when they weren't in season. I look forward to see what you create in 2024!
Happy New Year to you, too I have a friend who has to do the same. He has a couple of different storage units. It takes him multiple trips. If i keep making new ones, I'll either have to start selling some so i can store the new ones or add more roofing metal to the other side of the Ghostbusters car to store it all.
