My Hatching Process 

There are lots of great benefits of hatching your own chicks at home.
• it’s cheaper (if you continue to hatch in the future)
• no pasty butt
• friendly as they get older
• kids watch how chicks are born
• calming to the heart
Chicks should hatch in 21 days and sometimes a little more. I followed the instructions from the incubator I bought. The first blue incubator was not great at all, it wouldn’t keep the humidity level and the temperature at an incorrect level. It would always beep when it was not in range. When hatching chicks, your humidity can be from 40%-60%. Follow the instructions that comes with your incubator.
