In the first clip, I think gaijin changed all the AI tanks to a full damage model tanks. So the light tank you were trying to kill was the I-Go Ko, therefore you couldn't kill it with 7.62's.
No, if it was a full damage model, it would call it the tank it was showing since he was so close instead of a generic "light tank". What you can kill with your guns depends on how much pen it has. AAA, Artillery, logistics trucks, and Howitzers have no armor limits; armored cars and light pillboxes require ~10mm of pen; light tanks require 20mm of pen; medium tanks and TDs required 30mm; and heavy tanks require 40mm of pen.
No I think it was still a old model. The new ones have 3D damage models, and would have real names of the vehicles(I.e., Panther G, Sherman, what have you)
@@no-legjohnny3691MG151s with air targets, and MK108s can kill medium tanks last time I tried. Pretty sure it's caliber dependent and not penetration dependent if they don't have detailed damage models.
