Hey! So we had to re-edit and reupload this video 6 different times. It kept getting blocked. We eventually were able to upload it with severe edits (transparency, flipping it, and having Arab Man Reacts displayed on top of it). It wasn't VoicePlay blocking it. The full unedited and uncompromised version is over on our Patreon. Thank you for understanding

Yeah, things have been getting tough on these reacting streets lately. I am friends with several reactors and the tricks they have to employ to just get a basic reaction out is getting ridiculous. Like you pointed out, it's not the artists but, rather, it's RU-vid and their all-gore-rhythm trying to beat out the small content creator.

Thank you so much for another priceless reaction to Voice Play. You are amazing & I love watching you get deep into the quality of their work. Your expressions are priceless. Nobody works harder & pays more attention to detail in all of their videos than Voice Play does. They are a total package.

Sorry you had so much trouble with this one. Thanks for sticking with it! It really gives us insight into who they are as people. ❤ On a side note, there's a video clip floating around somewhere of Layne (I think) filming on his phone after a video shoot with Geoff on the floor and Layne and J None laughing about how many times they had to shoot and Geoff being done. Then Geoff (still face down on the floor) goes, "I can't do it again!" And the other two just breaking down laughing at him. It's hilarious.

"Voiceplay Funny Moments 1 -6". By Lexington Miles. Not sure which video. But they're all well worth checking out. And possibly reacting to. Gives an indepth look at who they are. All behind the scenes clips. Also..... Huldra Draco has a bunch of interesting and informative videos about Voiceplay. She does at least 1 new one each month if not more. I've learned a lot about Voiceplay from them.

Scott was their original beatboxer, Layne sang baritone when they started. I am an old woman, not a gamer, and had no idea of the community that surrounds gaming. I appreciate your perspective on this so much. Maybe we should have warned you that it was going to be emotional, but then you wouldn't have had the whole visceral experience. When Covid shut the world down, they did a fundraiser video, JUST SING, for an organization that was helping musicians who weren't able to work because of shut downs. They collaborated with several former members of Voiceplay and many of their featured artists up to that point. That was another way we saw how real they are. If you react to it, or even if you just watch it, have the closed captions on. They tell who each person is and their relationship to Voiceplay. Peace, brother!

I also appreciate your insight into the gaming communities. I play almost entirely single player games. I prefer the 'mind' oriented games to the fighting. So the community feeling was unknown to me. I certainly understand the community that plays physically together, just not the online community. Rek not only played with them, he was also part of their video making. I believe he often filmed the Behind the Scenes and was also involved in the 'Album Art' for their songs? (someone correct me if I'm wrong please!) As someone in the creative art world (I was in advertising/design for my working life) I can certainly understand not just the connection that exchanging visual ideas and concepts bring, but also the long work hours involved to bring something about. You do get very close. And then to add on spending so much of your free-time together? This must have been devastating. I greatly admire that they were able to push themselves to do this.

What I love about Just Sing is that when Anthony G. sings, they say in the captions that he had not collaborated with them yet, but they wanted him to. It made me so happy when Golden Hour came out. That man 's voice can make you cry.

Rek is seen on screen in Boy Bands in Five Minutes, delivering a sandwich timed to when the lyrics have the guys say "Thank you!" That video was a special thank you to their Patrons for hitting a milestone. Not only do the guys dance, there's a cameo by all their spouses. We get to see all of their families in Daddy Sang Bass.

This was one of Layne's, and word was the editing was far harder than he'd anticipated. That's what they do. They keep trying something new and difficult, and then it becomes a "normal" part of their repertoire. Thanks for your reaction - beautiful. I love their Halo, but most of all, I love Scott's words at the end. Yep. That's who they are. Good people.

Great reaction! One of the reasons I like your videos so much is that you truly appreciate not only the final product, but also the the amount of work they do to get there. As a musician yourself you appreciate and share the passion that they have for their art. Thank you for following through and watching the outro as well, even though it always makes me cry. (I spent too much time in the ICU due to Covid, so it really hits home). And a very special thank you for persevering so much to get the video out. Many people would have given up. Fun fact: Scott was the original beatboxer. When he left to pursue an acting career, Layne switched over from baritone. So the Red Team, Blue Team section is a beatboxer duel. (As arranger and editor, Layne made sure he won the duel😂).

Not many people understand the filming process and editing that went into this... thanks for reacting to that detail, as well. We all listen in amazement to the music VP records; not realizing just how much work they put into some of their videos. Even I am guilty of that... I understand the production on the audio side of things, but know very little about the video aspect(s).

Voiceplay is so much more than a singing group - they are a family. Geoff’s wife Kathy had said that before they were married she knew that he was already married to Voiceplay. When Cesar became a member he immediately started calling Geoff and Layne Dad and Papi. (And still does!). Eli became ‘Brother’. We know this because one time Eli was late to a video chat and Cesar pulled out his phone and said “call Brother". They open a feed for patrons to their video shoots and on the one for Halo watched as Cesar got to know ‘Uncle Scott’. (Now known to patrons as Crazy Uncle Scott!) They are a true family, and I think that feeling is reflected in every video they put out.

Ive seen and heard his so many times over the last year or so, but it still makes me tear up... Thank you for not turning it off when you realised what was going to be said. ..... Scott Porter was the beatboxer early on for Vp. He left to persue his acting career.. He also appears in "just sing" where Vp gave proceeds to a charity supporting musicians during the pandemic. X looking forward to your next one. ♥🇬🇧

I knew you would be able to appreciate the meaning of that long spoken outro. The more I watch them, hear about them, learn about them, the more I'm convinced they must be beautiful people, someone I would be honoured to call friends. That outro always, ALWAYS leads me to tears. And, even not being a gamer, I can share pretty much every word you said about this video and what the outro carried with it. Thank you for your reaction and your words. See you next time!

Another reactor (The Charismatic Voice), had the composer of the original version react to it with her and he loved it. A lot of people were saying they didn't like the changes, the creator loved it, so as far as I am concerned, that's what matters. The Red vs. Blue was both a reference to the popular web series, but also the fact that Scott was the original beat boxer for the group (he was a founding member) so the two beatboxers had a contest. They do the effects for the other does their vocal lines. So food.

The foot you see stomping in the Nike trainer is Geoff's little boy. VoicePlay love what they do and as Geoff has said, even if it wasn't his career he would still do it, it's just who he is. The visual are as big a part as the audio. Scott Porter was their first beatboxer before he turned to acting. Layne went from baritone to beatboxer with a little help from Geoff. When you react to Boy Bands in 5 Minutes you will see Rek bringing a sub sandwich to the guys warming their hands around the trash can.

My husband doesn't understand why I like watching a select few reactionary people. Some are educational, the break down the how the music is performed, as someone who studied music I enjoy those. There are two or three others like yours where it isn't an over the top reaction but a genuine love of music that I admire. Seeing a reaction to songs from different cultural view points is equally educational as a Canadian it is easy to find White or Black US view points. I do not use the term African-American because that is not accurate. First they are not directly from African countries and second America is more than the USA. If you look at a map you realize land wise Canada is larger even if our population is 1/10th the size. So ya we get stuck being forced to accept a great deal of bull from there cough cough Trump cough. But we do get to enjoy the brilliance of Voiceplay as well. So almost even. Throw in Home Free and we are Golden. 😊
