Yep - IU and V. Both born singers...both born actors. My understanding about the concepts being portrayed is that the cube is a representation of the discrimination people face. IU's character is deaf and V's character is blind in one eye. In the dystopian world they find themselves in, it is their differences that make them strong and their love that makes them unbreakable, no matter what they face. Through the lens of the video camera they see each other as it was, and how they see each other - perfectly imperfect. The final scene is so visually poignant and stunning - IU covering Tae's eye with vision so he can not see their ending...his single tear from his good eye tracing down his cheek. I wanted a happy ending, but life isn't always about happy endings. This gorgeous love song is about the love that conquers all, even in death. Love Wins All - ALWAYS.

When V guested onV IU's talk show, she asked him what kind of role he wanted to do if he went back to acting. He said he would like to do a thriller movie. Well since IU & V are close friends in real life, she made it happen before he enlisted. This MV is a Masterpiece, their chemistry, the brillant acting by both, her haunting beautiful voice that fitted the video so well, everything was 💯perfect!! When V was 20 he was in Hwarang a historic K-Drama. The director handpicked him even though he had no acting experience. The director has said "I fell in love with him at first sight... I thought he was definitely capable of acting." "Pure and bright were the attributes we needed the most for the character Hansung.... the drama tended to characterize Hansung as someone who has purity, untainted purity,,,, this character needed to be very unique and charming.... you can see he's very bright so we decided to cast him. When we first met, I fell in love with him at first sight because he had a cute face. He was so energetic and cute I was a bit worried at first because he had no acting experience... there were a lot of different skills and aspects of acting required, He (V) tried reading thru the script once and I thought he is definitely capable of doing it with training. From V/Tae being in Hwarang in 2016 what is known as "The Wooga Squad" was formed which includes Park Seo-jun (Seo-joon), Park Hyung-sik, Choi Woo-shik, Peakboy and Tae. Army has been waiting a long time for actor Kim Taehyung (V) to return.

If you look closely, V was blind in one eye and she was deaf. It is such a sad mv but, in the end, love wins all. 😢

I keep it together now until the moment she looks down and covers his eye....and her vocals of Love... Dang ... it... tears every time.

I knew this mv was going to be excellent, but I didn't expect it to move we all like this. The tenderness (almost innocence?) between them was so disarming. And then the hopelessness of it all... I was so immersed that I could feel their fear and despair.. V and IU's acting and chemistry are so excellent. I loved the fact that Taehyung was not the stereotypical fearless male lead. That man was terrified (he acted it so well!!) and that made everything, including his moment of bravery, feel even more real.

So sad and still beautiful..they are both amazing and Hopefully we will see more of V acting in the future💜💜💜

Such a beautiful and emotional video featuring amazing acting and vocals. I really do hope that Tae & IU do other projects together both film and music as they have great chemistry and when he was on her show their voices also blended so well. Also at the end it was pointed out by someone that he can hear what is coming but she can't while she can see what is coming but she covers his good eye so he can't. Both cry at the same moment though and from the same left eye. Also the right side of his face seems to have burn scars so maybe he had encountered a cube before but got away at the last minute. I also noticed the cube waits for them to stop fighting and accept their fate. If you notice there are no other people so obviously no person is able to meet the criteria this cube holds that would allow someone to survive. I can't get enough of this MV, the acting is Oscar level and combined with the award worthy vocals and lyrics it's both heartbreaking but also heartwarming that at least they went together.

The pile of clothes is for the same reason as that in Spring Day, to make us think of those who have died. It is based on an installation art piece by French artist Christian Botanski in 2010. (He made several of them over the years.) The installation in NYC was a 40 foot high pile of clothes. Next to it was a much taller industrial crane which would occasionally pick up an additional item of clothing off the floor, dangle it high above the pile and drop it. This video would not be the same without the scene of the beautiful wedding clothes floating down together at the end. The thing to remember is not the fear and sadness. The thing to remember is the love.

Her agency is Kakao, which is a huge conglomerate company in Korea which owns Melon, so all her chart rankings have been manipulated since her debut. Also all the media and news outlets have been contolled to their liking to advocate IU. They bought comments and accounts to manipulate the public opinions, threatened the general public that anyone who criticize her would be sued (and some of her hired commentators even gave death threats) The sum of views for the youtube videos that compared the IU's songs and the original songs went over 30 million, but they were all deleted by IU herself and by her agency. The RU-vid Korea deleted the videos that had only the original songs even when they did not use any of IU's songs (for the reasons that it had IU's name or photo on it). Later they deleted videos that did not have any of those, even within 30 minutes of uploading on Saturday night. RU-vid Korea and Kakao acted like one team and their cartel became a known secret in Korea. IU is also very well known in Korea for her Lolita concept and sexualizing kids in her songs. She sexualized Zeze, a victim of family violence from My Sweet Orange Tree, in her song Zeze. In her song 23, she hommaged a scene from 'My mysterious skin', a movie about sexual molestation of children, where pedophilia lures a child victim to rape them. All her other songs are also about an underaged kid dating an old man, many of her photoshoots also hommaged the movie Lolita. IU in Korea right now is like a symbol and epitome of deep-rooted evils in Korean society. I just hoped the International Armys would be aware of what's really going on in Korea and realize that any further affiliation with IU is not good for BTS.
