I have a viper alarm mines did the same thing I just got a better alarm system call compstar it has everything it even got a camaro inside the car if somebody tried to steal it they are on camera and can see it on your phone and can record it it cost a little but it's worth it
You're like me I don't drive my Dodge much either but mine is going dead after 2 days that I will get fixed pretty soon that's crazy I got a daily to it's just so easy taking out the KIA but just got it out the shop from sitting for 11 months in the garage at 5k smh my car starts when i jump start it though
Once a battery is fully discharged its no good. I don't have an aftermarket alarm and my battery totally died on my weekend car too. Get a Battery Tender with a quick disconnect wire and plug it when you're finished driving. It's like $60 and will save you from buying a battery every spring.
You should invest in a battery tender if you don't drive that car that much. Also, I would definitely start it and move it out every so often, at least to avoid any flat spots on your tires.
I get what you're going Alex. I went through the exact same thing with my Hellcat. I never take it to work and the day I was off I took the Scatpack out for a while just because I was in a manual mood. For three weeks. 😅 The day I finally decided to drive the Hellcat the remote wouldn't work. Fortunately all I had to do is start it manually. But that's when I learned never let it sit for three weeks straight. One week at best. I learned this lesson this past weekend. We're learning about these Hellcats my brother. Now we know.
This is common especially with an alarm system my hellcat does the same thing cause I never drive it. A easy fix is just get a trickle charger and put it on your car while its sitting and it will start right up
Man just get you a good trinkle Charger. Bag it up in the garage. If the car sits up for weeks it will die. They make maintenance chargers that will shut off automatically when its charged.
