My Helmet Collection 

Tony, when I was about 13 years old (37 now). I walked around the vendor row here in Phoenix at the then Phoenix international raceway, and started filling out entry forms for all the different raffles. Back then I was there as a spectator and my dad loved open wheel racing. This was the infinity and Oldsmobile motor era. Fast forward a few months and my dad get a call saying he won a helmet. Long story short it was “the helmet you wore in the Indy 500 race that year”. We were pleasantly surprised. We passed to a work friend of his and never saw it again. It is a good memory and we have been fans since.

I am a weekend warrior but would love to trade helmets with you. You have always been my favorite driver.

That collection is something special, a lot of memories everytime you pick one of them up 👍
