I watched all 3 parts of your experience and enjoyed every minute of it! Recently returned from Paris from a 9 day girls trip. I'm a long time client of the brand across categories, but had never been a fan of their bags until Mini Lindy fever became endemic for all the low key fashion ladies. As a fan of the Loewe puzzle, I though the ML would be great for me, so anyway, off we go to Paris on a Thursday night from NYC. I apply for the 1st appointment from the lounge, and am rejected by dinner time the evening we land. No biggie, Day 2, I bring my friend (who works in fashion) to Sevres - I'm in Pleats Please, in a Loewe trench coat, and wearing a rare Westwood bag from the 90s, my friend is wearing a Margiela bag. I'm wearing TEVA's. She's wearing dirty white JW Anderson platform Converse. We don't look anything like the standard clients, but it's clear to them as soon as we walk through the door that we are SERIOUS shoppers. I'm hunting for some pieces of silver so we go straight to the jewelry department and are greeted and offered coffee and champagne. The sales person who is also a manager in distribution is a cool girl, we hit it off and we tell her that were in Paris for a shopping bender and i'm up front and tell her that I am looking for an appointment and she's like I can't help you but i'm gonna track down all the jewelry you want. She disappears and comes back with all the pieces that I want - I am very pumped - my friend is looking on and is like I need some of that too - at this point were like tipsy because it's 11 am and were morning drinking - the sa/manager gets my friend a pair of the croisette hoop earrings that have been sold out in America for 3 years, and she's like im gonna wear these bitches out right now. Then she gets some makeup and a pair of shoes for me. We get rung up and she starts a profile for me and is tapping all kind of notes into her phone. I can see this happening right in front of me. She walks us out and gives us suggestions on where to go for the best designer vintage. Off we go! The next 3 days, I wake up every morning and apply and we go about our day - shopping, eating, more eating and more shopping - every night at 10 pm, I get the rejection email but I don't really care. By day 6, i'm resigned to the fact that I won't be getting an appointment. I wake up Friday morning - my 2nd to last night in Paris and decide to hop in a 5 minute Uber to FSH - my first visit to the store on this trip. I'm like 10th in line. The store opens, and i'm just curious to shop - I go to shoes first, and get helped by a nice lady who gets me a pair of Chypres and she tells me that they will be on hold for me and that I should shop around. I then wander off to small leather goods - grab a passport cover - needed a new one - and a bag charm for a bag that I don't even have yet lol, Next up is fashion jewelry - I pick up two pieces as gifts for friends. I wander over to the little makeup area and the guy was like let me put some highlighter on you - so I let him but dont buy anything. - he gives me free samples anyway lol. Then I decide to take a break and check my twitter so I go upstairs and sit at a table and do a little bit of being extremely online. At around noon, I text my friend and tell her to meet me at Bottega Veneta down the street at 1230. I make my way back downstairs to figure out where how to pay for all my stuff and then I see a couple asking about a cancellations at the appointments check-in area. They are politely turned away. I decide i'm gonna try the same thing. I go up to the guy and im like: "hi, i know you get asked this 100 times an hour and I apologize in advance if this is annoying but is there any chance of fitting me in for a quick appointment today, it's my second last night in Paris and i've been unsuccessful at the lottery. He smiles and is like let me have your phone number or email - so I give it to him - he pulls up my account - reads the notes and tells me to go have a seat by the straw horses, and that i'll have an appointment in 10 minutes. Sure enough, in exactly10 minutes, a woman comes over to me and is like follow me madam. She takes me up to the second floor - takes my drink order - comes back and says what would you like today? So I tell her that I am after a Mini Lindy in gold with gold hardware or a Picotin 18 in a very specific shade of orange with palladium hardware - orange minium is the color. She's like, only orange? And I say yes orange minium with palladium for P18, and gold with with gold for ML. She's like, ok, i'll be right back. At this point, my friend is in the store, so I tell her to come to the second floor and find me in the little alcove area. SA disappears for 15 minutes. My friend arrives just as the SA is coming back and she's got another SA with her and they each have 3 boxes - 6 in total and im like WTF? I introduce my friend to the SAs and SA number two is like would you like something to drink to my friend - my friend asks for an espresso. She disappears and SA number 1 tells me to go to the third floor and meet her there - so we comply- 5 minutes later - we are all assembled on a couch - and the party begins - SA 1 pulls our the P18 in the exact specs and i'm shocked by how much I love the color. I tell her its HOT. She laughs. She then pulls out the ML in the exact specs as I requested and I'm like omg -what do I do ? And she's like isnt this what you wanted? I'm like, yes but can I buy both? She's like yes, these are not quota bags, you may have both. I am floored. My friend is floored. I accept both. SA 2 then opens up a box with a herbag in khaki and brown - and my friend is like thats pretty cool - can I buy that? SA 2 says Yes of course. SA 2 opens up a box with an medium Evelyn in Rouge H - we decline. Then SA 1 opens up the final box and says you may or may not like this, you didnt ask for it but I thought you would like to see it - out comes a Kelly 28 in a crazy shade of dark grey, maybe Gris Meyer. At this point, I'm confused by whats happening but also elated. I decline and tell her that the Kelly just is not me but that I would consider a Birkin 25 in Noir with palladium in a leather like Chevre. Shes like no Birkins left today but we'll get you what you want next time - And that was that! After that my friend wanted to get another ring to match her new earrings so we got that sorted out - and then we paid and skipped Bottega and went back to our hotel to drop off our bags. Wild times. They doooo absolutely profile people and they make very strange decisions on how they want their product represented in the mass market. I am def going back in Oct or possibly July to try my luck. @@crystaldinh7584 I couldn't agree more, but having been a long time client of the brand , I think my biggest advice to people who want to be offered a bag is to chill, appreciate the items and buy only what you like, and wear those items with joy. I am by no means a VIP and spend probably 2-3k per year max, but have been loyal over many years - I do buy holiday gifts, baby gifts, and bachelorette and bridal registry gifts from them and I think that really has reflected positively in my profile. I've brought in items that I've inherited from my mom, aunts to have fixed and that also reflects well. They love that for somer reason. I started shopping with them 2 years ago and have been ‘jogging’ my way with things I like and continue to do so. I have a good time with my SA. Although the wishlist convo has not been brought up and I’ve been playing it cool. What makes me anxious is how I’m hearing from others that H is changing the game and requiring even more pre-spend than before for a QB and that they do a 2 yr look back at spend for consideration. So that makes it tough for slow spenders. Hope this won’t be the case and I’ll get lucky some day. Thanks for your support!
Thanks for sharing! Don't feel bad that you didn't go. You can't know if you had gone that the SA would have helped. Who knows, sometimes someone going alone is easier as the SA can concentrate on one person. I also agree about the Saigon - definitely carry bags from other maisons. It shows you are a good client elsewhere. When are you going back?
I know exactly what you mean about the boutiques in France. There is this super creepy vibe across some of them especially once they hear you ask for bags, they SHUT DOWN.

Talking about stock:I recently got a quota bag from my local boutique and without me prompting the topic in any way, the SA essentially was like "Yeah, we have pretty good stock of Bs and Ks in all sizes and a lot of colors at all times but we can't just give them out to people walking in and asking for them." At least she was being honest about it.
Wow this is nuts! I have gotten quite a few bags in Paris as well as an SO and didn’t know I was being watched or researched while I waited 😱 For reference these were mostly at Sevres. I got one bag at FSH and haven’t stepped in there since, I don’t like the vibe.
Hi! First thank you for watching and commenting - yes - this was part three so there's a little context in part 1 and 2 and then even more from my november trip series as well - check them out if you want! but that's a lot of videos and a lot of me babbling! Lol. Basically I wanted it, yes, 1 for the experience and memory and connection I would have with the bag and the accomplishment of scoring a quota bag at he flagship is just priceless. This time I wanted to get it to, maybe also prove I was worthy or deserving, because of the November experience and maybe to them but also to prove to myself? I don't know honestly now anymore...I will probably still try again but I don't think I'm going to put so much pressure, stress, or time and energy into - just manifest and accept and if it's meant to be great - if not, no worries. I am waiting at my local store too for my first bag - have two wishlists at my local store that have been there since end of 2021 and early 2022...again - just going to let it come when it comes and not over analyze it! Hopefully I'll get one soon! :)

I never considered the envy aspect. I don’t think it’s ok to act on the emotion and try to ruin a clients shopping trip by being cold, unhelpful, and denying bags if they have them, but I think I understand a little better as we probably all have our own ways of making things difficult for others when we are overwhelmed by that emotion. and since people insist you need to “look your best” “dress as posh as possible” to make a good impression at hermes, it probably doesn’t really thrill them to see people in head to toe luxury brands looking impeccable and wanting to buy even MORE $$$$$ stuff. I didn’t know they weren’t well compensated in such an expensive city

Hi! Thank you - Me too.😥 But also - Great question and great point - thanks for commenting and asking - appreciate you! It probably would have been cheaper yes and less painful - but there's something about paying over the retail price / resale price that just doesn't sit well with me right now. Maybe at least for my first bag - maybe on my 10th I won't care - lol 🤪 We'll see - no idea - only time and 9 bags will tell. And honestly don't mind spending the extra money or time - It's Paris! I love the city and have tried to go back as many times as I can every year. It's like a 2nd home for me and I'm hopefully going to have a place there one day to live in part of the year. : ) Just being there, seeing my friends, my fav spots, the food etc - it all worth it - just being in Paris is worth it :) But I won't be making my trips about the bag anymore and missing the city as much as i did these past two trips - that's for sure!
I wanted to get my first ever proper designer bag and I’ve been researching, jumping from LV to chanel to goyard to now hermes. The more I look into this the more ridiculous and sad the consumers of these brands seem Why would u go through so much trouble for a sorta ugly bag when the shopping experience doesnt even seem to make up for it? Is it for the exclusivity? Is it so you can show other equally delusional people that ”hey I let someone poop on my face and then finally allow me to spend tons of money on a ugly little piece of leather”? Its ridiculous. I dont even want a bag anymore, the weird obsession about who can get the most exclusive, IYKYK, newest rarest piece of turd designer item has totally turned me off.
Im portuguese I heard Hermes here in Portugal (Lisbon) makes it easier. I don’t buy these brands but I know a person who did, and i wasn’t a client. I know they are a elitist and pretentious 😂
