Fun detail, Present Mic is the one reading out all the quirk explanations in the show, as the “speaker voice”…except for his own quirk explanation which is done by his bud, the “not quite as energetic” Aizawa. 😆

Poor Kaminari and Ashido being the least intelligent ones in class and having to go up against one of the smartest creatures in the world lmao. I mean it's understandable why they paired them with Nezu but damn, that's just unfair. Kaminari and Ashido are such an underrated friendship, though. Just a pure chaotic duo, I love it. So excited to see your reaction to Bakugo's and Midoriya's fight together against All Might.

Asking why 13 stopped when she was about to suck Uraraka into a black hole is like asking why she didn't kill Uraraka. Her quirk has two settings; off and on.

Black Hole has the power to destroy anything and everything. Remember, when 13 was fighting Kurogiri at the USJ, Kurogiri put a portal behind her and used Black Hole against her. It injured her badly.

A lot of people don't know this but Mineta actually has one of the highest intelligence stats in the class. Do with that what you will. Also, the fight against the Principal is one of my favorites.

Dunno if y'all have seen this but: Invisible Girl against what you thought, is literally naked when she removes her gloves and boots. Her school uniform shows that (when she's in class you can see her body shape etc). Her quirk is most effective when she is wearing nothing essentially, which is kinda weird to think about lol. There's no way she'd ever be seen naked though unless Aizawa erased her quirk or she lost it or something.

Japanese schools have trimesters with a roughly month long break in the summer. Kids will be required to attend remedial lessons in the Summer however if they do poorly on their midterms. Most kids attend school in Summer anyway but mostly for club activities. Regarding today's episode, the teachers don't have to be mindful of destroying the environment becauss they're playing the role of the villains.

I think the principal can destroy the city because he is playing the role of the Villain for the test. And he's not in his own hideout, unlike the first All Might test where Bakugo got told off for damaging the building.

Remember them showing the Class 1A rankings in terms of tests and stuff a couple episodes back? Mineta was #1 so remember he's actually quite intelligent.

Mini statement as to Mineta's character connections to Japan in general: So to start I'll just mention that the east in general is much more conservative and private than the west. 2 "pervy" examples of this would be that all our "adult videos" are uncensored and then our average age someone has their "first time" (for Europe and America) typically is between 14 and 18. In Japan the former is always censored, body parts are considered to be more sensual etc, then on top of that their "first time" ages are usually 19-22. In fact 18-34 25% of Japanese men haven't had a girlfriend. To connect this all back to Mineta, in the west we typically have dates with girls as young as 10 (not to THAT degree but still), and most have had some sort of relationship by 16. In Japan however, as stated prior, it's becoming more common for Japanese men to stay inexperienced, and Japanese teens are easily observed as inexperienced with women. Mineta then becomes relatable to most Japanese young men, he's punished for his perversions (earphone jack stabbed in his eye for peeping etc), but Japanese teens can relate to wanting to peep on women since they rarely even date them. Likewise, it's the same with everything else, he feels insignificant and small (Asian men being the smallest in height, muscle mass, general body of any race). Furthermore, his main goal of wanting to be popular with girls, is yet again relatable to Japanese teens, as interaction is typically minimal and becoming less and less, such is shown when we see the flashback of Mineta overhearing the other guy asking a bunch of girls to go to the movies with him, he's jealous cause he lacks the confidence to do that. In general, despite being very "prudish" you can do a quick google and discover that in general, Japanese men are some of the most perverted on average in the world. Side note: Even the inexperience with women is shown when he does his internship with Mt. Lady, as he comes back saying "women are devils" as a joke, but it's common for men over there to have no understanding of how women are different etc. (To be fair I can't stand Mt Lady's character lol) Overall, Mineta's character works fine to me, it's definitely a common thing for Japanese men to want to be more popular with girls, heck even in the west there's the few guys in class who go years without making female acquaintances (far less common though). His gags are funny, I think they're even warming up to you guys now, vs at the start where you literally hated him. My girlfriends favourite characters are actually (to the best of my memory) Mineta, and Aoyama.

No offense since it probably just something you didn’t pay attention to, but thirteen stopped sucking in when Uraraka got to near was because anything she vacuums turns into pretty much dust
