You're awesome! My daughter showed me your channel when she wanted me to learn "I love you" by Billie Eilish. I play the guitar while she sings, it's beautiful. Every song we learn together was learned from your instruction. I really appreciate you, learning these songs has given my daughter and I something special to share, which is a rarity now that she's 13. Thank you.
I've always wanted to play this and have been hard at it during lockdown practicing with loads of your videos. Today I looked at trying to do this and found it way easier than when I first wanted to play it a year ago. Just through jamming along to your vids and trying to learn new things. So grateful for how well structured your videos are.
Great to hear Ally! It's a great feeling revisiting things that were once difficult to then find they're manageable! Means you''re making good progress! Keep it up :)
Dude...seriously...you never disappoint. You're always there when i need to learn a song. Thank you. From a lifelong musician, sometimes we just need the basics presented to us easily. And you do just that.
Beginners like me... Take your time with this, eg Super slow, a section at a time, Few weeks you will nail this beautiful song. Excellent lesson again. Good luck everyone
could you do a tutorial for Times Like These acoustic version? he also performed it on the Howard stern show and it sounds AMAZING! it's kinda perfect for the pandemic lol
I watched Dave play this for Howard Stern and loved it so much I kept playing it back so I could copy it and learn it. It’s nice you’ve made a video so other people can learn it easier than I did. Keep up the good work!
Thats exactly what I'm trying to do. I got this almost down but I was wondering if you noticed any differences from Dave's performance on Stern versus this. For example. I believe he occasionally lets the low E ring out during the chorus, but its hard to see. Curious as to what you saw was different
Again an amazing tutorial just like always....thnx a lot and I'm requesting u plzzz make more tutorials on linkin park I'm a huge fan.... thnx a lot again
I’ve been trying to learn the way to play the way he does on that Howard stern live show for sooooo long just mimicking his fingering but it’s been sooooo hard. It’s hard to tell which strings he’s muting Thank you
can you do some songs from the Hamilton soundtrack? like Dear Theodosia, You'll be back, Wait for it, the story of tonight and a couple more if you find them doable. that'd be great.
Been waiting for this one, awesome man. What do you thing about doing some iconic songs like Stairway to Heaven, Sweet child o mine, All along the watchtower etc...
Love the vids, keep it up, it makes learning and playing guitar much easier and way more fun. Could you please please please do something from panic at the disco like: girls/girls/boys, Lying is the most fun a girl can have, or mona lisa, or just all three😂❤️
>>>>>@GuitarZero2Hero how does that guitar play compared to say a Tayloe Gibson and Martin. It's beautiful for one and the wood grains are so far spread apart. I'm curious bc they aren't readily in supply around my area.
What I can't understand is how Dave Grohl, a drummer, got bar chords down so well. That transition from the e to the bar chords is a pain in the ass. Especially considering you have to mute the low E.
Decent tutorial but a couple things definitely missing..... Glad to see that you got the pinky on fret 7 and that whole thing that he did on the Howard Stern show performance and often throws in but there's a whole bridge section at the 8th and 9th fret on the G and B strings where he transitions between the 8th and 9th fret on the G string while playing the 9th B string the whole time with it. Instead you pointed out that it can go up to the 11th. That part is somewhere in that section. I do love your videos of lotto and have learned many songs so thank you very much for the very well edited and very thorough lessons. This is one of my two favorite channels on RU-vid for learning accurate correct just the way the artist plays it guitar. Unfortunately channels like this are very rare because most people are not as accurate but it is very noticed and appreciated the hard work you put into the editing of this content. Thank you for being very thorough and very detailed with the editing skills. Not sure if you have someone helping with that or if all of that is you but excellent job however it's done. Tell them thanks.
Dave - @14:56 during the Chorus the tab goes to the 11 x 13 part but you play the lower 2 x 4 thing. Editing mistake or ? What are we supposed to do there?
I’m having a hard time barring all 5 strings with 1 finger. Some strings just get muted. Any tips on how to fix that? I’ve tried pressing harder but it isn’t working.
Yo ik I’m two months late but for the chorus I found it easier to use my pointer finger and pinky to press the strings and my middle finger to mute everything else
My man I really want to thank you cause I follow you for like 6 months and I evolved too much because of you, I love your fingerpicking tutorials, so well made vids bro, tnks
