My Hijab Story | How I embraced Hijab as a Revert | Hijab Tips for New Reverts to Islam
In this video I share with you my hijab story!
I’m actually a revert to Islam and I embraced Islam when I was 18 years old. I’ve been Muslim for 8 years now Alhamdulillah.
Hijab is mandatory for Muslim women from the age of puberty, but being a revert to Islam changing your life 180 degrees overnight is nearly impossible. It takes time, patience and spiritual growth to understand the purpose of hijab to be able to wear it with love.
The change that truly sticks is a gradual one and that’s exactly what I went through in my hijab journey.
After reverting to Islam it took me two years to start wearing the hijab, but It has become a part of who I am ever since that very moment.
If you want to hear the entire story, keep on watching!
If you’re new to my channel, my name’s Veronika, I’m a co-founder of a modest activewear brand Fit Generation Apparel, photographer and content creator. I share my business journey along with its ups & downs, valuable lessons and practical advice to inspire women like me to pursue their passion, work for their dreams and craft the life they deserve.

Muslim woman think they are being modest by covering up but that's a load of hogwash, you being modest does not stop the man in your life from marrying more than one wife no matter how much you cover-up...how hypocritical. Islam lack real morals, that is why it has to focus on superficial morals like covering your head or face. All the real God wants from you is to be perfect from the inside and not the superficial outer things Muslims focus on...this is true proof the Quranic Allah is not the Abrahamic God but rather inspired by Satan (it is evident in the Quranic text, see below). Below I will use a single story from the Quran & the Bible to prove this to you, so if you are truly interested in the truth...it is less than a 4 minute read, so read on. Let's agree one some principles first, both Christianity and Islam states that God (Allah) is "holy", so both religions agree on this point. With that agreed, lets look at two similar events from both religious books and compare the "Holy God" and his morals standards. These are the criteria both religions agree about God: ⦁ He is Holy - Holiness means that God, is without sin, has absolute moral perfection ⦁ He is Just - judges everyone equally Let's see these differences from two similar stories: The Bible: One night in Jerusalem, King David was walking upon his rooftop when he spotted a beautiful woman bathing nearby (2 Samuel 11:2). David asked his servants about her and was told she was Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah one of David’s mighty men (2 Samuel 23:39). Despite her marital status, David summoned Bathsheba to the palace, and they slept together. David apparently tried to cover-up his adultery with Bathsheba’s which lead to Bathsheba’s husband's death. After her time of mourning, Bathsheba married David and gave birth to a son. But, (2 Samuel 11:27) notes, “the thing David had done DISPLEASED the Lord.” After David sinned by committing adultery with Bathsheba, God sent the prophet Nathan to rebuke David and told him that as a consequence of his sin, divine chastisement would follow him the rest of his life. David repented of his sin and the mercy of God is such that he will forgive anyone who repents, but sin’s consequences remain even when the sin is forgiven. The Quran: Zaid (Zayd) was a freed slave whom Muhammad publicly adopted as his son and according to tradition Muhammad publically announced this at the Ka’ba. Thereafter, he was called Zaid ibn Muhammad and was one of the first persons who accepted Islam and Muhammad chose Zainab (Zaynab) as his wife. One day Muhammad paid an unexpected visit to the couple but Zaid was not at home. Muhammad saw Zainab in a near naked (Arabic: hasirah) state and he was moved by the beauty of his daughter-in-law. She quickly dressed up, invited Muhammad into the house however, Muhammad went away repeating, “Praise be to Allah who changes hearts.” This admiration was noticed by Zainab. On Zaid's return, Zainab related to him about Muhammad’s visit and what he had expressed. Having served Muhammad for years, both as a slave and as a son, Zaid had a fairly good knowledge of Muhammad’s character and personality. He knew how his father thought and felt. He realized that his father had been affected emotionally by Zainab. Incidentally Zaid went on to divorce Zainad and Mohammad married his son's ex-wife (his daughter-in-law) and abolish the practice of adoption. Based on Muhammad's actions, it proves that he wanted to marry Zainab even before the Quranic verses sanctioning the marriage was revealed. In actual fact, it does not matter whether it was revealed before or after. Both are morally wrong. How could Allah reveal verses in the Quran that authorizes the lust of a man for someone else’s wife?. The true God would never do such a thing and this proves that Allah of the Quran is an immoral imposter posing as the Abrahamic God. Conclusion: The Abrahamic God gave the following command to the ancient nation of Israel: [Leviticus 18:15]; “Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife; do not have relations with her.” In total violation of the divine commandment stated above, Muhammad developed an immoral sexual desire for his daughter-in-law after viewing her in a near naked state while she was still married to his adopted son. Let us now compare Muhammad’s affair to the incident in the life of King David - David lusted after the wife of another man. However, the true God did not let the affair slide by just because David was his chosen king. On the contrary, God severely chastised and punished him. He warned David of the consequences of his sins. Unlike Allah, the true Holy God does not compromise his holiness for any person’s sins, whether it is David’s or that of any other’s. The true God punishes sinners, he does not reward them as Allah does. The Allah of the Quran is an absolute different deity from the true God of the Bible who hates adulterous acts and desires. As a God who hates divorce, it is beyond the holiness of God to compel anyone to forsake his wife so as to allow another to marry her. God gave the following commandment: [Exodus 20:17]; “Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s wife.” How much more so if she happens to be your son’s wife (whether this son is adopted or not). Clearly the Allah of the Quran is not the true God of the prophets but another masquerading as the true God and what Muslims fail to see is how this actually proves that God is holy and Allah is evil. Clearly Islam is satanic, it needs only "one" unjust deed by Allah to show this and no other deed can correct this satanic revelations by Allah. It is either this or Mohammad's own revelation to justify his actions, which still renders the Quran untrue and not from the true Abrahamic God.

As-salamu alaykum dear sister, JazakAllahu khairan for this video. It was an inspiration and I am trying to wear the hijab part-time. On my student job I am not allowed to wear a full hijab, but I can wear a turban. It's not really what I want, but I think of it as a good way to get used at something at my head and just to get the "hijab mentality" (or that's what I call it😂). I will try to wear a full hijab in about 2 weeks when I have to retake my exams at the university In Sha Allah. I hope that will be the real beginning of my hijab story and that I gradually can wear it in my own village. For now I only wear it outside my village or not when I am in the woods because normally there is no one that I know. But I really really really love the hijab, it takes my stress away and I feel so good in it. In Sha Allah can I wear it really quickly 🥰 As-salamu alaykum!

A lot of Muslims, female and male including one Muslim friend of mine from Pakistan who is very devout, reads and prays every day, says that wearing hijab is NOT by any means mandatory... And I've never see his wife or daughters wearing it. They say it is totally optional.
