Wow 😍 Looks delicious Bumbi. We absolutely love tandoori chicken. I am so excited to try your recipe. I will make it very soon. Even I have used that charcoal method many times for different dishes. Thank you for this wonderful recipe my dear friend 💕
I was so inspired by that recipe, that I'm making it right now! Chicken in first marinade ay the moment! Thanks for this Bumbi! You are my big inspiration for making more indian food at home and have made many of your recipes. They are all delicious!❤
What an innovative indoor grilling technique. All of your improvisations show your mastery as well as the good tips you offer your viewers. Thank you, namaskar 🙏
I also don't have access to an outdoor grill, and therefore don't have charcoal. A few drops of "liquid smoke" from your local store does the trick and saves some time. Love the channel and your calming voice! Thank you for the recipes!
Actually I’ve tried it with liquid smoke but it is not as close to the smokey aroma that charcoal imparts. I bought a small bag of charcoal and stored it for these purposes only 😀. Thanks for all your support.
@@CurriesWithBumbiI'm glad you at least tried it. I'm just not a fan of "charcoal" flavor. Wood smoke is my vibe. Love your channel and thank you for the reply!
What a delish recipe. May I ask, have u ever made a crispy fried chicken recipe, akin to KFC style? I did a quick search on ur channel but couldn't find any ...
I dont cook with chicken much lately but recipes like this make it seem very appealing! Always nice to see your selection of spices, in fact, they might be my favourite part of the channel
Tandoori chicken, classic. I've made this a number of times, and while it's always good, i've never thought to try that trick with the hot coals.... Interesting :) Next time i'll give that a go, cheers.
Wonderful recipe. Like how you cut the tough sinew off the bottom of the leg. Never seen that before. I agree do not like red dye and it's really not needed. Hello from Oregon, US.
I only have access to induction stovetops and don't have a stove hood - I add smokey flavour by using smoked paprika instead of sweet paprika, and use black cardamom in the masala. Smoked sea salt is also a good option that's available commercially, it's just regular sea salt that has been cold-smoked so is totally natural.
My husband asks me the same question quite frequently. Wish I could gather up some time and energy but I need to stop procrastinating and seriously think about it.
Sorry about that. You can also cook this in a pan over stove top, turning it from time to time, but I think the oven does a better job. You can also skip the smoking part, just marinate it and roast in oven. Giving you all the options in case you would like to give it a try in an easy way.
