If you're truly doing what you love, it won't feel like you're actually working... Even though I talk a lot about hard work and hustle, I still take some time off on the weekends to spend with my family, watch Jets games, and rest. Just because I put so much emphasis on working hard doesn't mean that I'm remotely trying to say that you shouldn't be sleeping or not resting... I'm trying to say that you should be using the time that you have while awake wisely and productively.

Just want to say to Gary and the Vaynernation, last week I sold my first piece of poetry through Instagram Dms which I have been working on for the past 7 months since that episode of daily vee I think was called down in the dms. Im 24 now, after over 10 years of being told by people and on the internet poetry never sells and doubting myself over and over, I just said to myself fuck it and started my poetry brand. The greatest side-hustle of my life is taking care of my health. I put in at least 2 hours a day to workout and stay healthy. Health is everything. If you are killing it at your business but neglecting your health, you'll burn down before your competition and before seeing your rocket fly. Remember, the game is to hold the breath as long as you can. If your stamina is low, you are not gonna last for more than a minute. Take health seriously. Watch what you eat, train your mind to embrace a healthy diet and lifestyle. Invest in adequete sleep. Let's be physically and mentally strong 💪

Yo, I think that it's most important to optimize the hours you work. Don't think just because you're working a lot of hours, you're actually being productive. Make sure you are utilizing those hours at maximum efficiency.

It's interesting how people view health and business performance as mutually exclusive. Exercise and sleep are not only important for your health, but your ability for your brain to function well. Things like creativity and problem solving all benefit from maintaining health. So that one hour at the gym everyday might make you more productive during the day, therefore creating value to your business rather than taking away.

I struggle with hustling everyday but try to make it better and better. Hustle in my definition is trying to make the best use of your time during awake, making the best choices for your work, and then being able to wisely select what other activities you want to include in your life, such as family / friends / and service to the community.

I was so confused when hearing people talk about hard work, because when I feel like I'm actually working and hate it, I quit pretty fast because I feel like: this shouldnt be what my life is about. I want to learn and grow and struggle, but for the things that make my heart ache and my brain tingle. So thank you for putting my mind at ease, I know I'm on the right path finally. And, actually, a year ago I was struggling with crippling depression. I was searching for something, anything to get me out and help me start moving, because I couldnt even get out of bed. Moving any part of my body was the hardest thing ever. So I searched for something to motivate me and I found a video of you. I turn 21 this Sunday. I started a landscaping business that is expanding so fast thanks to the things gary preaches with social media, patience, etc etc. I launch a property group with my brother in 2019. Best video yet Gary Vee. Appreciate your honesty. Young people need to hear your voice, the misconception of not just cool but hard work, grit, what it ACTUALLY means to have empathy for a person. You're touching a spot that aspiring young leaders are being drawn to because they know that "hustle" or "work hard now and sleep when you are dead" is first off not realistic and is fundamentally flawed if you were to actually serve your people, your tribe, your customers. How can a leader or entrepreneur serve his people with little sleep effectively? Not possible! Shine your, light sir! Show us reality and provide value.

Truth! When I was doing a job I HATED it was more hard work doing 40 hours per week than it is doing 60-80 hours per week as a marketing freelancer. Great post.

Been listening since January. I've already started to build a business with my brother and another one with a close friend of mine. Meanwhile I am manager with a good wage with my 35s. All I do now is work work work. And I know it will pay off. Thank you man.
