I love your eagerness to learn! I don't mind you reading the lyrics at all, this is your channel, you do want you want. Like you said, if someone doesn't like it, they don't have to watch it. BTW, I shouted you out on my "Bongo Bong" by The Big Push reaction. You really deserve to have over 100k subs by now 😊🤍✨️
W comment that’s why I pinned it I appreciate you for shouting me out in your video I did watch it and I did see it, hopefully you see my next Ren video. I want to return the favor.
Thank you for liking my content, I can tell when you shouted me out that you really actually like me you didn’t even take any notes to revert back too. W shout out. Fr. Stay tuned.
After having listened to Ren's Chapter Series Intently and multiple times, this track just encapsulates his story so well and serves as musical accompaniment for The Chapters. Ren's experiences are very familiar to me to say the least, as is often the case with many of his supporters. Ren's success is so deserved and I do truly hope it continues. Ren is the medicine many of us need. So raw and vibrant in color, combined with his naturally emotive performance! Indeed Ren....Your Limo has finally arrived. This in my mind one of the best lyrical raps ever written and performed!
I like that you want to understand what he’s saying, what’s the point in listening to it if you don’t? And like you said, there’s plenty of other people to watch. Keep doing your thing. 💜💜
New to you and fair play to you for keeping it real and giving the song due consideration- nothing wrong with reading the lyrics first so you catch them as they're sung - I've heard quite a few US Reactors say they struggle with Ren's English accent (even though he has very good diction) - I'm English and sometimes even I struggle to catch it all straight off the bat but i have that will all songs tbh. And you don't have to like a particular song or beat to still appreciate the story /message /penmanship etc, we all have different tastes - thankfully with Ren, whilst he has his own unique flavour across all his tracks, they're all so different there's something for almost everyone in his catalogue. As a Renegade devotee, there's maybe just 2 tracks I don't love of his, but for someone else it may be only 2 tracks they really like out of the whole collection.
Personally, I prefer you read or understand the lyrics. This one is full of metaphors. Ren was in so much pain for years but there was one period of 8 months that it was every moment of every day with torturous pain. He couldn't read or even watch a movie. What Ren is saying with the kiss of cold steel is about cutting. It's my favorite beat and rap of his. Everyone is different.
@@greenmonster4918 Ren describes this incident in the chapters in detail. Ren also brings this up in a couple of his other songs. There's a sense of self control when you cause the pain yourself with self harm. It's what he's said about smoking too. But you're entitled to interpret how you want to.
@@sigally yes, the cutting incident has been mentioned a lot (it was broken glass, BTW). What I'm saying is that he has also mentioned POWs and holocaust prisoners welcoming death because their life was such misery. IIRC, he even mentions them going out by being stabbed. But yes, it's music. Everyone personalizes & interprets differently. I usually would not have replied, but I was on a kick where I found it interesting how many breadcrumbs he was dropping in Chapters that directly related to Trouble, just like how his recent retakes all had teasers to the next one. ☮️💜🎶
@@greenmonster4918 Im aware of the glass, just chose not to go into detail. The latter part (kiss of cold steel) is a metaphor like the rest imo and what makes sense.
he wasn't suicidal, he was in pain all the time and one day he found a broken TV got a piece of glass and cut his chest to see if he could feel pain he talks about it in his chapters on his RenMakesStuff RU-vid channel. There is a total of 8 chapters around 20 min each.
People today, men & ladies, that our economy is not like what it was like back in the 70's & 80's. Where you could have a house wife if that is what they want. But in today living? Nobody can afford to live by themselves without roomates or living with their famiy members because they are hurting too. Its sad.
Another good reaction, thank you. If you want his FULL story listen to his chapters on his RenMakesStuff RU-vid channel. There is a total of 8 chapters around 20 min each.
Yes sir it don't make no sense to pretend you know what was said and just move along. So back up and hit it again. you know it is like a bible study where 5 folks all read the same passage and talk about it. Sometimes folks read what I read and they see all this imagery and understanding and I did not see anything. That is why it is important to really listen and relisten or re read or re watch whatever it takes. Then they explain what they saw when they read it and I say damn I see that now and surprise myself.
He filmed this in Calgary, Alberta Canada. He filmed it during the winter but just dropped it He's receiving medical treatments in Calgary. They have Universal Healthcare in England. They have it in Canada too. It's pronounced Fibro-my-al-ja. It's a condition where the person with it is in chronic pain all over. .
The story is hard to take in. Didn't like the song either on first listen. But it left me intrigued, so I listened again, found myself humming the sample, bopping the beat in my head, and listened again. Kinda starting to like it now...
I mean I feel you, but I want to take different angles. How am I making people aware speaking on just Rens situation? Listen.. I feel like you all want me to just speak on Ren and his situation when mental health isn’t about him.. it’s about everybody who identifies with some kinda mental health illness. I’m pushing awareness toward what we can do to fix things, we heard Rens problem now it’s time to help figure out how we can make a change… not keep listening and doing nothing. . The story is a good story I said that... What’s the problem? This song may be perfect for you, but let’s be honest.. how many times have you listened to it? I can push mental health awareness with books and research. If a person doesn’t like the song they won’t listen. That’s just that on that gang.
@TheDonDann Ren is using his story to bring mental (and physical) illness to a wider audience. He does help people in practice, too, some charities he has donated to and physically worked with have given him a shout out on social media.
(Said like: "Phi-Bro'MY-algae") is a sickness that mostly impacts the joints. Causes fatigue, soreness, sleep issues which leads to memory issues. Sub'd. Awesome reaction & hope to see more.
Any other current governments you'd prefer to live under? How about past governments? Existence in 2024 in the U.S. is the WORST it's been in history... except for all the other years.
