Interesting video. So you can be anywhere, but you still want your friends and family around you? Yeah, that just the way it is. I could do with a break though, so being alone for a while isn't an issue. After working for a little while in Dubai, and having been gone for a few years, I was happy to leave when I left, but I'm planning to head back (God willing) in few months time. I'm looking around and It seems like the best location at the moment. Safety, good weather, clean etc, etc. Where else compares? As a base, it's well connected and most other places are not far. Dubai's stated aim is to be the best city in the world. I think Dubai will change over time as more people make it their home....so I guess having a bit of real estate there may be a good plan and the prices are already increasing.
I have been here for 4 days, arrived from the UK for the first time in Dubai, and I can confirm, I agree with every point already. Safe, fun, beautiful weather with ample of opportunities. But on the flip side, fake people, all about money, does get lonely if alone, and summer heat is like sauna. For what it’s worth, it’s a great opportunity.
Maybe seems like Miami.. Superficial... Materialist.. But Miami is Latino too... So maybe It is easier To get connected with other people... For a cultural matter....😉😉
