Not many choices and hopefully MsGreyt Wigs and Hair Pieces will proceed to make even better pieces for us ladies. Also, with different textures of hair.
Thank you so much for this video. I’m 38 and started going grey in my twenties. I rarely see any nice salt and pepper hair piece that look youthful. Definitely going to look into the bob and clip-in’s.
So sorry for the late reply… I hate that our options for grey / salt& pepper hairstyles are so limited…but I appreciate the companies that are making an effort to accommodate this community! I like to promote styles that are stylish… not just showcase a wig for the purpose of the company. I think everyone should have the option to change up a look for fun, out of necessity, or just because they want to not need to. I’m sorry 😂 I got on my soapbox for a minute. I appreciate you giving a honest opinion on the different grey pieces. I was interested in the ponytail or the headband piece. But I wouldn't want to toss my money in a shedding piece. And the head band piece , I'm not too sure about. I'm glad someone is trying to give grey hair a chance. Just need to perfect the process. Thank you again. Love all your videos!!
You real hair is Fiya🔥 It really really complements you and you look so much younger with it than the wigs you are a beautiful lady your real hair gives you a jazzy look! Those wigs have nothing on your real hair!! I’m praying my gray would come in like yours!!❤
Let me say that the colors are beautiful. I'm happy to see a manufacturer market to us silver foxes. I like the headband look. But not gonna spend that kind of $$ for shedding. Ty for the vid truly enjoyed it
I love the headband wig. I curl my headband wig that has that texture. I like it better curl, and it looks great on you. For the straight-hair bob wig, I love what you did to it. You made it look much better. It turned out to be so cute. I am not a fan of clip-ins. There is a trick to putting clip-ins onto your hair to keep them from pulling your hair or getting tight on your hair. I have always had to twist my hair in with the clip-ins. For the ponytail wig, I would slick down my hair first, then take some of the ponytail hair and wrap it around the ponytail. These are some of my suggestions because I was a hairstylist before I retired. It is to bad that the ponytail sheds because it is cute.
I absolutely loved the way you looked in each wig and hair piece! You looked fantastic. I appreciate your honest opinion on the shininess and the the shredding. Those are very important to me. Otherwise many are the same issues with other companies I have dealt with...however they did not have salt and pepper hair! My hope is that the company takes your input and gets better and better! Can't wait to see you in the new clip ins! In the meantime you can wear those anywhere and anytime and look beautiful because that is what you are!! Thank you for your videos!

Thank you so much for this video and honest assessment! I have been gray for about four years (thanks to the Pandemic). I wore my hair just above my shoulders, silk pressed. Then I committed hairdresser adultery and went to someone new! I asked him to color my silver gray white!! Dumb mistake. He colored it orange! Anyway, I am slowly growing my silver hair out and need a way to allow my hair to "rest" in a protective style! Will seriously consider MsGreyT products. Thanks again!

Girl! You are blessed with a beautiful head of hair. Salt and pepper looks good on you. I didn't like any of the wigs on you. I suggest you go for the Ultra Nessha 203. Also, if you want to go kinky curly make sure you look for the wave pattern, not the Shirley Temple version. Flat hair doesn't do you justice. Your natural is gorgeous!
Fabulous options for gray hair...I love the clip-in pieces and ponytails. I may try one of the kinky straight wigs, since I refuse to straighten my own hair. Beautiful on you!
Your review is open and honest. I don't remember you ever wearing wings before so I trust your opinion. I've been on the fence about this company since I'm like you I rock my own hair but I'm glad they have this as an option instead of them cheap, plastic wigs our grandmas used to wear..

I waiting for my first delivery from this company, the headband wig. I really appreciate your honest opinion and quite frankly I’m not so excited anymore. Wish I had seen this before I ordered. I also just discovered luveme hair. I like that they get good reviews on the texture of their hair and waiting also from my unit from them. On the msgreyt side, I love the variety in color selections. What I don’t like about luveme, is the very thing, lack of variety color grey selections. So time will tell when everybody arrives. You’re welcome! I will say this, use a co-wash(love VO5)… wash it really good with that and allow it to sit for about an hour. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Run a cool blow dryer through the hair and then flat iron. The hair won’t be as coarse and will not revert back. Hope that helps😉
Hey Ava as always you give your honest opinion about product. All are nice you just have to play around with them. I’m wearing a Mohawk type style piece I got it off Amazon but for my 75 birthday in March I’m leaning to just cut my hair off. I’ll send you a picture.
I actually liked them all! They all look great, but I don’t like the shedding. I’m m seriously considering going grey. It’s so scary. I’ve been dying my grey for so many decades! I struggle with the coolness of my grey, I’m a warm skin tone. Ugh!
I liked the 2nd look! Im just not a fan of exstentions, wigs bcuz of my hair color is completely different color from the wigs always! So I dont even bother I just wear my hair natural these days. But I appreciate all the examples and this video so thank u so much😊❤
I thought the bob wig was the most flattering on you. The ponytail wig would look better if your natural hair was slicked down, thought the headband worked. I agree the clip ins would have been a lot of work since you'll probably have to do a twist out with your natural hair.
The ponytail is too expensive to shed like that. Everything else you showed looked wonderful with the work you did to the pieces. Thanks so much for this video!
I ❤ the bob on you, especially when it had a more lived in messy look. I also liked the clip ins although the placement was off, it was your first attempt.
I use "boholocs" crochet locs. They have "storm" which matches my grey hair or they also have "salt and pepper". You get 120 single crochet locs in a pack. They have two different lengths. I use 22". I only use boholocs now.
I don't t understand why the wigs are oner $200. You did wonders with the bob wig and headband wig. They are not cute right out the package. I wonder why it is so difficult to make cute salt and pepper wigs at different price point. Thanks for sharing and Great Review
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a thankful and greytful 😊 for the options as a graying newbie; however I would like better styling options as it seems the wig hair is hard to hold curls. I’ve seen the same thing with BSS Grey Brazilian Grey hair I purchased last year - it didn’t hold curls either. 😢

I've been considering getting a natural style wig or hair piece but didn't want to spend alot trying to find the correct color and style. In my opinion I like your natural hair styles better. Although I do understand that some days dealing with natural hair and styling it can be a bit much.
I am agreeing with you I love my own texture, yes it is very hard to find 4c Hair salt and pepper , or gray textures just payed to get my hair straightened and trim I absolutely Hated it I was my hair was glad to get back to me, but I would like to find texture with length and texture 🙂
I bought several Ms.Greyt units, but recently I noticed that my Yaki #51 V part seems to tangle and bunch up. It did not do that before. I shampoo and condition like my own hair, but concerned about how it looks now.
@@empoweredwoman1021 sorry to hear that… maybe try a heavier moisturizing shampoo and conditioner(cream of nature or KeraCare) and allow the conditioner to stay on for about 45min before rinsing. Comb through with a wide tooth comb or brush then allow it to air dry…style as you normally would. If it’s still tangled, definitely reach out to Ms Greyt and let them know. Keep me posted😉
@@robertamiller3309 hey there! I’m no professional so following my method is not advisable. But, if you choose to thin the piece yourself, be very careful when using tools to alter your pieces. I used thinning shears or you can use a thinning comb to de-bulk your wig. If you’re unsure, take your wig to a hair stylist and they should be able to give you the density you’re looking for. Hi, I purchased their most expensive lace front unit and it overly sheds. I’m working with them now to remedy. I will agree the texture is a bit stiff but I have not put heat to it. Just received the kinky straight half wig and I’m returning because I don’t like the drawstring and it’s a weird silky texture. Thanks for the review, was considering the ponytail but since I have first hand knowledge on the shedding, I think I’ll pass. Any others you know of making good grey units?
MsGreyt has really good customer service. I hope that they can resolve the issues you’re having. I’ll be doing another review of one of their units soon. I’ll keep you posted… RPGShow wigs has really nice units. I’ve only tried 2 of theirs, but I’ve really enjoyed them. Not many styles to choose from but the color blend is really nice as well as the texture. However, they do not have any natural hair units. Hope this helps 😉
Dear sister your natural hair texture is beautiful. That Ms Grey t wig with the headband looked terrible dry, hard, stiff texture Even after you flat ironed it and curl it it was just too coarse .After you worked the second wig that one was much nicer. I don't think I want to waste my time and money on their product is worth my $$$$.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I and so many others have voiced our opinions on the texture of the hair and I agree it needs to be better. Given the process they take the hair through to get it to the desired texture and color, it tends to dry the hair out. They are working to make the product better. 😊

Girl your talking about texture and your hair text is coarse. Are these wigs human hair or synthetic? I’m surprised the bob became fuller with work! But I don’t want to do “work” with a wig! What is the point! To me a wig should be less work!
Sorry, not a fan of any of them. Your hair is much prettier and the gray in the wigs seem more bluish silver. Its just very off to me and the texture looks cheap on you.

I’m not offended… but I’m not doing this to say I would rather wear a wig vs my natural hair. I did this because some of us that need options, when your hair is not ready to wear, will have decent ones. I’m not a big wig wearer, but when I need another option than a scarf, quality wigs would be great. Hope that clears it up 🤗

YOU were too kind on reviewing those pieces. They all sucked and didn't compliment your face. I have to wear a wig at all times because of kemo. The hair looked coarse and dried out completely. There was no real shine to any of them. I know that some people like that kinky look but when you are over age 50 the dried out genernally doesn't look good. The hair was unevenly cut and looked like bed head. You did a great style by curling one of the wigs and it did look a little better with the curl. I personally wouldn't buy any of those pieces.
