I've tried this oil and I am very impressed with it. My skin texture actually seemed to change for the better and stayed that way throughout the day. However, I appreciate this review.
@@alexpress5375 Check out my video on the OSEA Body Butter Here!: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aazyBXnYsts.html I pair it with the oil and share my thoughts! :)
Thank you for your honest review. The company also charges customers $5 for returns which is weird because I received a moldy product and charging me to return a faulty batch is beyond me
It is not mold , in their description it says “This oil contains Undaria Seaweed and as such, a naturally occurring seaweed sediment may be present at the bottom of your bottle. This is completely normal and does not affect the quality or efficacy of the product.”
Thank you for your honesty. I was online today thinking about buying this product and decided to search for reviews from women with dryer skin. I will continue to use my go to body oil…and it’s only $10!!
I agree with not using alone, I mix mines with the shikai vanilla body lotion. But that is during the winter time, my skin is more dry. During summer I use alone. Besides that love the product. :)
thank you for this!! I’m gonna try the mini size and just give it away if I don’t like it. I know I’ve tried the Necessaire line, also pricey, and unless you’re using the lotion, serum and oil ALTOGETHER, the products individually kinda suck lol. But I also love the idea of having an entire regimen, rather than a multi use one.
Agreed! The oil is not a stand alone product. I now just use it to add fragrance to my perfume regimen, but that’s really it :/ This oil pairs best with the OSEA body butter as a body product, but the regime as a whole is far too pricey to sustain.
@@gisellespringer I actually recently got into Trader Joe’s unscented body butter and it’s the best I’ve had in such a long time. I add a few drops of their 100% argan oil and it’s been holding up all day, and since it’s unscented I can add whatever floral essence I’m tapped into for the day.
I agree. It does the same to me and the new body balm isn’t good . It’s a creamy oil . The body butter is good but it’s the cream that’s good. Body balm is an oil. Don’t get it if you like the oil.
After reading the ingredient list I will be the second one to say dry skin babies stay away😭😭😭… most of the oils are high in linoleic acid meaning it’s fast absorbing and won’t do anything for our skin 🥲
THANK YOU FOR THIS! Makes a lot of sense. I now just use the oil as a part of my perfume regimen to add fragrance definitely not as a hydrating body product :/
I’m glad I came across this video I was on the fence on buying the same thing in the same size, thank goodness they had a tester and I decided not to get it. I have super dry skin during the winter and it didn’t even last on my arm in the store :/ but for anyone who likes this oil Ulta does have 50% off on the body oil sometimes
I get a blonde balayage with some ash blonde highlights. I don’t recall the exact shade used for my hair unfortunately :/ The balayage is great if you have dark roots, because it allows the grow out to look more natural! Keep in mind that because ash blonde has silver in it, there is a lot of upkeep required. Always show your stylist a reference photo of someone who has a similar hair type to you for the best results possible!
this is a very affordable, skin-loving, dry oil option that I use regularly on my skin + hair - NOW Solutions, Sweet Almond Oil, 100% Pure Moisturizing Oil, Promotes Healthy-Looking Skin, Unscented Oil, 16-Ounce www.amazon.com/dp/B0019LVFSU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_A5EC1GTGXN0EDNKNGAY4 however, this is the daily moisturizer I use on my body that my dry skin absolutely loves!!! - Kiehl's Creme De Corps for Extremely Dry or Flaking Skin Body Moisturizer for Unisex Ounce, 16.9 Fl Oz www.amazon.com/dp/B0061ZQ890/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RZ9990Z49038W070G2YX don’t let the price deter you. Kiehls often has sales on their site& in store if you happen to live near by one. I have yet to find a daily moisturizer that my skin loves more than this one!! Us dry babies has to stick together 😉🤣
you mentioned you use an almond oil for your scalp and your ends and i was just wondering what that might be if you don’t mind sharing? your hair type appears to be very similar to mines and i struggle with keeping my hair and scalp hydrated/ moisturized which result in my scalp to drying out and causing me some discomfort
Hi! I also have a super hard time keeping my scalp hydrated which can often result in a super itchy and flaky scalp. An oil I have tried that helps tremendously with this issue and keeps my scalp flake free is actually Rosemary oil. The exact one I use is this one from amazon: Sun Essential Oils 4oz - Rosemary Essential Oil - 4 Fluid Ounces a.co/d/hPVGr1I you can use it straight or dilute it with a carrier oil like almond. I also use the almond oil on my ends every other night typically which can also be found on amazon: NOW Solutions, Sweet Almond Oil, 100% Pure Moisturizing Oil, Promotes Healthy-Looking Skin, Unscented Oil, 16-Ounce a.co/d/iJpjxXg Be warned though, the rosemary works significantly better for dry scalp than the almond. However the almond oil is great for maintaining hydration of the ends of hair.
I personally love sweet almond oil. I’ll get the $7 perfume samples from le labo and mix them with 2-4 oz of the almond oil. it’s a perfectly hydrating, luxurious smelling combo 💘💘💘
Make your own body butter, raw shae butter, coco butter , almond oil &vitamin E oil … u can make several batches when u buy these ingredients…. U will love what it will do to ur skin .
This oil is amazing. It improves the quality of your skin - wrinkles and elasticity. Not necessarily dryness. (Which is how it’s advertised) Primarily for aging, sagging skin. Not sure why you thought it would cure dryness. So this review is not necessarily fair or accurate.
I am so happy this product worked for you! In my video I said I personally didn’t like it, not that it wasn’t necessarily a quality product. I will say however, that the packaging does state it’s intended to moisturize the skin which was clearly not my experience. It’s ok to not agree on things.
