@@jessiewrites4753 im a 30 year old heterosexual roofer from england, i drink beer play poker, swear too much and also used to box..... I also have 45 different coloured jellycat bunnys, and a huge collection of other jelly cats. I am not ashamed. I also require the mint medium as i cant find one!
i know how you feel. im 25 with a hugeeeeeeeee stuffed animal collection i cant get rid of them because most are from my childhood. and to be honest ill probably still be collecting them lol
I'm 36 & I collect them too!! 💕 I just started in the summer and I have like 30 already lol my bf is in the military and is deployed.. buying these has actually helped me get through it. He told me he's scared to come home to 1000 Jellycats 😂
Your amazing. Don’t ever be ashamed. I’m 49… the Comfort that stuffed animals have always brought to me can’t be put into words. I’m a mother of 3 kids… 15,12, and 10.. and none of them have the love I did for them as a kid . I remember when I would go to school, I would have to have them arranged right side up, snuggled with each other and in a comfortable looking position.. haha. I was an only child for a long time before my brother came and I didn’t have a lot of friends to play with that lived near us… I blame it on that! Ha but I will never feel bad. 😂 I ran across your video because I have a boyfriend that just ordered me charley the cheetah after seeing it at a boutique near where I live. I could not stop talking about it because I never had stuffed animals that soft!!! I can’t wait to get him this week… ❤️. Much love to you!
I absolutely love jelly cats! I wish my mom would let me have a jelly cat, she says I should get over stuffed animals because I’m not a baby anymore, I’m 13. This video made me really happy to hear adults also have them. I absolutely love your collection!
angel I’m sorry your mom believes that :( I’m 26 and think I will always love stuffed animals. My parents sound similar to your mom. They said things like that to me too. When I got older and started working I bought my first Jellycat. Now I’m an adult with a bed full of stuffies. It doesn’t harm anyone. It doesn’t even ruin my dating life lol
Ur a baby compared to me! Never to old for a soft toy! Save ur pocket money and secretly buy one! I have loads of jelly cats plus load of others! (Have a jar and collect £2/$2 or a bit more evry week) my mum wld go nuts if i bought another one!
There is no age limit on cuteness. There is no age limit on whimsy. There is no age limit on innocence. There is no age limit on self-expression. I'm 38; still collecting and admiring. Soon I'll learn to crochet so I can make clothes for my plushies. Dont EVER let anyone take the joy out of life! 🌻
Just stopped to say I love your collection and don't hold any shame at all for the things that you love! I'm a 28y mama of 3 and about to start building my collection because of my 2y daughter, I had my doubts but you've cemented in my mind that we should all be allowed to love what we want without shame or judgement and I can't wait to get MY first Jellycat! We have 4 bunnies in the house already!
I would LOVE to see a collection update, of just plushies in general. I have thousands of stuffies and am in my early 30s. I see no shame. I have been wanting to start my own channel one day when I have a better living situation to showcase my beautiful collection.
nah, don't judge yourself😉jada pinkett smith talked about buying stuffed animals to help her acknowledge & spoil her inner child that might have been neglected💜i love that idea. stuffed animals are great!
Loved this video! I collect plushies too, if it makes you happy it makes you happy! No shame needed! I got my first Jellycat last weekend and I love him so much I already ordered a Bashful Badger and an elephant just like your Lionel. :)
I just collect them because they’re adorable and I’m 36.🤷♀️ My husband thinks it’s ridiculous, but whatever lol I think some of the stuff other people do and collect is ridiculous. I just buy what I like 🙂
this is glorious, 21yo, just got berated today for wanting my very own odell octopus, why don't they see these stuffed animals as collectibles or art? not just toys for children i'm so happy to see other collectors
Periwinkle I totally with you. I’m sorry your got berated. I hope you get an Odell octopus of your own. These are works of art! And adults can like plushies too. I sleep with about 6 in my bed. If I bring someone home I put them in the closet 😉
I’m 20 and I bought my first one at a store in Julian ca. I got the green/yellow Dinosaur and named him Julian. I haven’t had a stuffed animal in years but this brand is turning me 12 again lol they’re just so adorable I can’t handle it
Wow! That’s amazing! I love jelly cats, and I recently started collecting them. I have the octopus and the little and medium Sacha snow tigers. I love your collection! (Jelly cats are amazing)
This collection is adorable 💕💕dont feel ashamed btw I'm almost 30 and obsessed with these😍 so far i just have couple bashful bunnies and odell octopus. I need that cottontail bun tho 😍xx
Lovely collection! 😍 Don’t be ashamed, I also collect plushies, and Jellycat is one of my favorite brands. ✨ They’re so soft and floppy. I’d love to see more videos of your collection! 😁
Jessie Writes Of course! Nope, you’re not- there’s quite a few of us, and we’re all like in our 20s, (I’m 24) lol! 😊 Yaaay, I can’t wait! I make videos too.~ :3 💚
I'm 31 and I collect Charlie Bears and Jelly cat. I've wrestled with the embaressment myself but am realising that there's no age limit or rules. If it makes us happy who cares? There are lots of adult collectors.
Oh my goodness that’s nothing XD and it only gets worse as they are addicting. I have 8 of the huge bunnies alone also have 3 elephants the lion, giraffe, unicorn, dinosaur, dragon, and polar bear in the huge size. I have a bunch in large and medium and 2 smalls. I’m actually waiting for my fist (hopefully only lol) really big bunny in silver. I’m 35 but you know what what ever helps you through the day is fine as long as it’s not hurting anyone else. It all started when my husband got me the huge woodland bunny (her name is Juniper) for easter two years ago. I have a day room which I watch yt, listen to music workout, make art and do crafting in and most of my stuffies live in there on the couch and chair and desk and book shelves and and and. Those larger bunnies are so perfect to snuggle when watching tv (or lets plays lol). Getting to the point it’s becoming hard to name them all lol. I have anxiety and hugging them helps calm me down. We could be spending our money on worse things lol yay for plushies. :) good luck on not letting them take over your life haha.
Jessie Writes yeah and I’ll do the same for you with the Santa! If you ever decide to sell your peach I’d gladly buy or trade for one of my bunnies as there are a few I’m looking to get rid of💗
When I was about 6 my brother was going to be born and my mum bought a big Jellycat dog for him. I had one other jellycat that was a tiny lamb I got when I was born but I didn't know they could be so big and I fell in love with it. So I stole it and my mum had to convince me when my brother was a few months old to let him have it. I'm 11 now and am trying to start a collection!
Don't be ashamed this video is so cute my best friend and I agreed to get stuffed animals that represent each other for eachother once we graduated highschool and while.on the hunt I discovered jelly.cat and I just placed my order for hee....but i will also be back to by myself some stuff 😂😂😭😭😭
Divya Lara hello! Thank you for your comment. My favorite size for bashful bunnies is the small size. I think it really comes down to personal preference and how you will use your bunny. I use mine to help with my anxiety. I like to hold a small bashful bunny while I sleep. For some reason, I don’t gravitate to the median sized ones as much but that is probably the most popular size. I really enjoy the huge and extra large bunnies as well. They are a good size to use as a body pillow, but are more costly. I have been collecting stuffed animals my whole life and I really do believe that the price is worth it for Jellycats. They are so soft but also very durable. They even look cute when they start to get worn in from use. I’ve given Jellycats as gifts to children and adults in my life and everyone loves them. I’ve gave one to my newborn cousin, one to my best friend while we were in college, and even one to a 102 year old lady! Everyone loves them. I hope this helped :)
Don't apologize. Plush are just as much art as paintings, sculptures, or figurines are and nobody judges people who collect artwork. There is craftsmanship that goes into designing plush!
About to turn 28 in a week and just got my first jellycat silver flumpt bunny from my bf! (I bought him a pineapple on the new year and about to buy a monkey for him :)
Stella Rivera yes! I’ve gotten a few more bunnies, a carrot, a pumpkin and a dog! I’m on the look out for the avocado purse and a Santa clause. Do you have any on your list?
Jessie Writes i actually joined a ton of Facebook group pages where we all buy and sell to/from eachother. At the moment I have 7 huge bunnies (all different colors), then two large bunnies, and 8 medium ones 🤣 and those are only bunnies haha! Right about now I’m looking for a huge peach, large buttercup and a huge sparkle bunny! What about you?
