This satisfied my skincare obsession very nicely on a Sunday, thank you very much! So many goodies. Reminds me that Shangpree is a brand I'd love to try. I'm curious to hear how you get on wtih the Dr G mask as well. Looking forward to part 2 :)

What intensely intrigues me is why there's never ONE SINGLE mention of mainland Chinese skincare in these sorts of hauls. I can't tell you how many YT shopping hauls, general shopping vlogs, reviews and general showcases I've watched. Not ONE single mention of any mainland Chinese products or brands. Nothing goes viral, there are no trends, no international awareness let alone hype. If some brands don't feature on the international market at all, I get that. But to not have third party distribution from places like Stylevana or Yesstyle is odd. Nothing in Japanese shops like Donki, MatsuKiyo, Ainz & Tulpe, Hands etc. The only time I come across mainland Chinese skincare is when they're dodgy knock offs and other garbage on Amazon. The general reputation mainland China has for everything, certainly skincare and cosmetics, is that they are very poor quality in every possible way and ethically compromised to a worrying degree. I wonder if like the South Koreans with their stealthy long-game 'Halllyu' approach, mainland China will soon try to combat this perception by working as a nation and as an industry towards improving both products AND their PR. What do YOU think? Any insightful opinions from the vantage point of a working industry insider would be extremely valued by me. I hope someone will start this sticky, awkward, controversial little ball rolling and explore this entire issue, for better or for worse. I find it unbelievably strange that there's no such thing as C-beauty, only K and J beauty. I loved this haul and could very happily have watched a more detailed one that was twice a long. My happy place is always skincare and really cool hauls. ☺
