I had to go out and un stick the spinner on my 300 lb Feeder. This is after I changed the timer to the "The Timer" brand. The timer that came with it would not let the motor get enough power and just showed jam after jam. I hope that "The Timer" fixes the issue. I am not sure where I would find a more powerful 6 Volt motor that becomes a problem. I think the feeder design is great but I feel like they skimp on the electrical components.
the first one is hard to take off motor IF YOU KNOW SHORT CUT LET ME KNOW took it apart to motor mut havinf trouble REMOVING AND REPLACING MOTOR I know a lot of people who have em and the wACADEMY website has many complaints
Hey George, how is the round 225 lb one doing? I found one for sale for $150 and wondering if it’s worth it! It’s brand née in box. I’ve only ever used gravity feeders so spincast is new to me. I’m switching over because I have a huge raccoon problem at my spot!
I had an issue with mind as it stopped feeding. Hard the feeder turned in as the motor would jam up with corn. My wife not and issue the very first one and my third one are still running. a bag would last us 5 days or so as we set it twice a day for 4 seconds. You set the time and it will determine the length of the feed. Hope it helps as corn can last longer or shorter depending on your settings
